Congrats. Next week is when I enter into my half marathon training period. My husband is also entereing into a training cycle for a body building show. So, no problems this Christmas (Thanksgiving was only so-so) as we are both entering into big activity periods in our lives. We even bought smaller portions for our holiday meal on Tuesday because we don't need "all that stuff" in the house weeks after the holidays.
Concerning being on the road, it is challenging but what I've committed too (and can't believe it took me so long to find) was using facilities and hotels that have at least a kitchenette in it. I've gotten used to asking about the ingredients they use in their morning breakfast meals (boy was I shocked and disappointed). I'm a cardio girl at heart and will go for walks and runs and if there is a gym available then I'll go to that but I've never been one for work out videos. That may need to change as I read and hear about people's successes.
