I know there is an entire workout centered for the at work scene. I have a print out at my desk and it includes wall push ups, squats etc. Good stuff. If you can work it into your environment I think you will flourish.

You can also chair march !! lift your feet up and down as you are at your desk ! I use a pedometor I tie it to my lower leg with a wide elastic band, this action counts the amount of steps you do and you can record this .

I have a pedeler coming soon and I am going to set it up at my computer and as I work my feet will be moving .. this gives excellent exercise all the way up to the hips and back. Have fun and move !!

TAMARALW--you certainly can. Actually, my co-worker that laughs at me all the time is down 26lbs. BTW, she doesn't laugh at me facetiously--she gets a kick out of all I do at my work station.

My customer does not see me, but my coworkers will. And so will a few people who walk by my desk. (My desk is on the aisle and not blocked from people)

But if you can do it with people looking at you then so can I right??

I'm the work out queen at my desk job! My co-workers pass by my desk and LOL! I work off site in a customer service position so I don't see the customer neither do they see me---hope that's the case for you as well. I have a box underneath my desk which includes: a 9lb medicine ball, 3 sets of dumbbells 5, 10 and 15lbs, 5lb ankle weights and a 5lb band. I do Russian twists or seated twists with the medicine ball, leg lifts with the ankle weights, bicep and tricep curls with the dumbbells, back extensions with the band and squats holding onto the partition. Hope this helps.

I could bring some lightweight dumbells, or even invest in some weights to put on my wrists. The other possible problem is that I don't have my own cubicle. I have a work station and I am sitting around other people. Hopefully if I do some of these exercises the other ladies might join me! emoticon

Can you bring some light weight dumbbells in? There are a number of seated exercises. I believe Coach Nicole has a umber of videos that could help.

As the title states I have a sit down job. I am a customer service rep, and I have to stay on the phones for the majority of the day. I can take a 20 min walk during my lunch, but I feel like that might not be enough. Any suggestions on how to work out at work?
