I just do a slimfast or luna bar for breakfast at work. Both fill you and are pretty good for you. The luna bars come in really good flavors. My favorite are chocolate peppermint stick and macadamia nut.

I normally have frozen pancakes with turkey bacon; cream of wheat with molasses (I am a bit anemic and have to get my blood and iron levels up and this helps); boiled egg and turkey bacon; or toasted bagel with light cream cheese, cottage and fruit, yogurt. I like variety and it depends on what I am in the mood for. Breakfast to me is the best meal of the day!

mmmm...that sounds really good! I am a fan of 3 egg whites with a small amount of low sodium lunch meat cut up and mixed in. I have yet to try the multigrain waffles, but I think I need to now!

My new breakfast at work the past couple weeks has been:
1 egg mixed with piece of cheese....microwave 1 min stirring 1/2 way.
1 pkg instant plain grits mixed with some hot water
Stir it all together!!
This is supper filling and keeps me satisfied till lunch.

Hello ladies!! I just started following the abs diet (a lot like spark) and today for breakfast I had 2 eggs and 2 Tbs of tuna microwaved. Mix it all together and microwave in a bowl or I did a coffee cup for about 2 minutes or middle is done. It was good (better with some salsa) and seriously kept me satisfied till lunch. Past my scheduled morning snack.

For oatmeal, instead of the sugary instant packets, get a canister of the plain instant oatmeal (read the directions, look for 1-1/2 minute microwave time) and then just measure it into individual servings in ziploc baggies. Add cinnamon, maybe some Splenda or Splenda brown sugar, etc. Or bring with you some fruit to mix in like blueberries or frozen sliced strawberries. Whatever you like.

Make it with skim milk, then you get a milk serving.

Don't use a full cup of milk like the instructions say, use about 2/3-3/4 cup. When I make it with 1 cup it's super runny.

Try it out at home first and make sure you have a bowl or mug big enough that won't boil over. Everyone hates the coworker who messes up the microwave!

Nancy: have you ever thought about switching that poptart for 1-2 slices of whole wheat toast covered with cinnamon butter?
(Cinnamon butter--I melt some Brummel and Brown yogurt butter and stir in as much cinnamon as I want and some Splenda brown sugar. Put in small ziploc container and refridg. back to solid)
YUMMY!!
PS--Natural cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar throughout the day so it's a great addition to breakfast!

That does sound yummy and easy. I wonder if it will work with a full egg...hmmm...may have to try that.

In a coffee mug, you put 1/2 cup Egg Beaters and whatever "omelette" toppings you want. Microwave for 1 min, stir, microwave for another minute and VOILA!

Pop Tarts are yummy but all sugar and tons of calories. I read in an SP article that instant oatmeal isn't too bad (if I recall it correctly).

Thanks for the ideas! I'm hooked on a low-fat cinnamon pop tart - which sounds ok. But when I log it in, I realize I need to get more bang for my calorie "buck" than I am!

I bring a baggie of 1 cup kashi golean and a few craisins every morning and munch on it for breakfast. I eat my cereal dry though (the craisins help) and I know not everyone can handle that!

I usually grab a yogurt and a piece of fruit. Hard-boiled eggs are good too.
