I feel like I just read my story... I joined SP late 2008 and lost 50 pounds. I had some severe health issues early 2010 that lost me an additional 20-ish pounds and as I came out of the hospital, I never got back on track. At first, I stopped tracking my meals, then I slowly quit working out, and all of a sudden, I was back to my old habits...
I was married in December 2010, and found out shortly after the wedding that I was pregnant... and 2 weeks later, I miscarried (at about 10 weeks). Then, in March, I miscarried again (I didn't even know I was pregnant that time)... And my sister had her baby the beginning of December.
My husband has been encouraging me to get back on track - many times - but despite his loving prompting, I have to do this for myself... so here I go again... I did it once.........

2.5 years ago, I started using sparkpeople and had an intense exercise routine. I lost almost 50 pounds, then quit. I quite exercising. I quit tracking my food. I quit being healthy.
I gained back every pound plus a few more.
I came back today. I had a miscarriage this past summer, and was at work today when I realized that today would have been my due date. It was painful to realize that since I suffered that loss, I had done nothing to better my health to improve not only my life, but my chances at a successful pregnancy.
I realized I must do something. Using Sparkpeople was key to my success the last go around, so I thought this would be a good place to start my journey again.
I want to thank all of you in advance for the wonderful support sparkpeople have to offer.
Now off to bed to I can get up and make it to the gym in the morning. Wish me luck.
