RED bell peppers! -- Crunchy and surprisingly sweet! SWEET pork rinds! -- take the plain kind, drizzle some melted butter into the bag, shake bag; sprinkle in some Splenda and cinnamon. DARK chocolate! -- I love Extra Strong Dark Chocolate (77%) made by Chocolove. This is not an unlimited snack, however. CUCUMBERS -- sliced thin, topped with a dab of whole-grain mustard, a wedge of Oscar Meyer oven roasted turkey sandwich meat, and a dab of mayo a ROOT BEER FLOAT -- low carb, of course JELLO Congeal -- serves 4 and lasts me 4 days! HOT BUTTERED Bouillion or sugar-free apple cider. Somehow, the butter makes it special
I buy flats of berries in season and freeze them for smoothies over the winter. A smoothie helps me fight those ice cream cravings. I use allergen-free whey powder, ice cubes, unsweetened coconut milk, and a bit of Splenda or Xylosweet. Sometimes I'll toss in an avocado or flaxseeds. Good stuff...
La cucina di un popolo Ŕ la sola esatta testimonianza della sua civiltÓ.
Came up with a tasty smoothie: 1 cup Almond milk, unsweetened original (silk) 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (the kind in a carton, not a can) 2 scoops Chia seeds (fiber, and Omegas) 1 scoop Healthy Whey (chocolate milk flavor) 10 ice cubes
I have to tell you that this tastes like chocolate ice cream, and is very low carb. YUM

Chia seeds thicken the mixture, and also add the fiber = helps you feel full longer

Anyone in extended induction making cheeseballs for the holidays??? I was thinking perhaps it would be nice to bring along to some of the holiday parties we've been invited to...along with celery hearts? and then have leftovers to snack on? Best, M'Sanct
Chicken skewers Hard boiled eggs with a cube of cheese Almonds Chicken drumsticks
I think you can have pretty much anything for a snack that you would have for a meal. If I'm home and want a snack, I've been known to fry up a couple of rashers of bacon even! Hope you get some good ideas from this thread.
When I NEED a snack - I always start my snack with a glass of water, Celery w/cream cheese gives me crunch, piggy puffs (chicharones - bacon puffs), a hard boiled egg, a piece of sliced meat around 1/4 dill pickle spear, all this depends on when I am doing induction ....
