Well JK,
I'm doing doing well at all. I seem to eat more when I have a cold. I do have to give myself little positive credit though. I have done a little something everyday. That was one of my goals. It hasn't helped with moving the scale, I've actually gained weight. But my arms are back up to the same strength they were when stopped exercising at the end of Jan. or beginning of Feb. I can once again do 2 sets of 15 reps with 15# weights. Not biceps curls cuz those are always easy for me but, the tougher things like the laying triceps extensions. The 5 exercises I do for my arms every other day or there about are GREAT. I am shaking like a leaf when I get near the end. I LOVE THAT!!!! I wish I could get my ABS to feel that way. I need to work on my attitude and stop all this negative posting. But, sometimes it helps to come here and whine. I know it's not pleasant for y'all to read so if you see it going that way feel free to move on! LOL;)) However if you skipped part of this post you would have missed me giving myself some credit which really is a rarity. HAHAHA!!! I am feeling a bit more normal. Man, now I understand better when people say they have a cold. YUCK! My thing is I CAN'T just sit and do absolutely nothing no matter how congested and icky I feel which may hinder my recovery! It's a good thing I NEVER get sick cuz BOY when I do I whine a lot. Some is put on trying to get sympathy from my DH!!! HAHA!! FAT CHANCE! He has spoiled me rotten so when I whine he ignores me! I find it amusing so THAT makes me feel better! We have a weird relationship! AWESOME, but weird!:)) Just FYI! A little something personal for y'all!;)) I tried to do the little winking emotion but SP is soooo slow and doesn't load up half the stuff anyway! So, I had to settle for that! SORRY!:((

One week down on the March 4th challenge. How are you all doing?

I've been able to follow my exercise goals successfully.

My weight is not moving in the right direction. I'm going to try to get a handle on it this week. I'm giving myself this week to make a little progress, and if I can make no progress, next week I will begin TRACKING CALORIES. Ugh.

Also, I need to concentrate on upping my water intake.

I will run 3 miles 3 times a week. If that means getting up at the crack of dawn, so be it. If that means pushing my 30 pound child in a stroller, that's what I will do.

I will only have two rest days on my exercise log. Three days running, two rest days, and two days of abs, walking, whatever.

If I have to start tracking my food to lose these couple of pounds, I will do it. I will hate it, but I will do it. I will give myself two weeks without and see how my progress is going.

I do a moderate workout everyday. I do Coach Nicole's strength training workouts and some jump rope cardio. I only miss workouts if I am out of town.

My nutrition goal is to track everyday, staying under 1200 calories.

It seems like we have all got a major case of the Februarys!

So that’s why I am challenging you all to MARCH 4th!

It’s the only day on the calendar that is a command, and it’s commanding you to get back on track!!

Are you happy with your weight? Personally, I’m up two pounds this month and will be happy to see them go. So for the March 4th challenge, decide what your goal weight is – for this month, two months, three months – whatever – and put it HERE in WRITING for the WORLD to SEE!!! Then log your daily weigh-ins to stay accountable!

And GET OUT THERE AND MOVE! Decide how many days a week you will allow yourself to write “rest” “nada” or “nothing” on the Daily Exercise Log. Write that HERE – so we can all see it!! Then log your daily exercise and stick to it!!

Like the old Technotronic song, “Get up, get up, get busy do it. Get up and move that body.”
If you’re feeling a “nothing” day coming on, do some crunches, some jumping jacks, anything! It all counts! And one less day of “nothing” on your log!

The key date here is FOUR. Because March FOURTH is FOUR months from the FOURTH of July. The SUMMER. And SWIMSUITS. Sounds far away, right? But just think of all the progress you can make in those FOUR months if you start in MARCH!!

So if you’re with me, please respond with your goals. Be sure to include your weight goal, short term or long term, and your goal for how many days of action you will have on your daily exercise log, as well as any other personal goal you want to be accountable for! And then remember to log your exercises and weights on the daily logs. And check in here to let us know how you're doing with your goals.

You’ve still got a week to wrap your mind around your new plan. A week to finish off (or throw away) those girl scout cookies. A week to meditate on that cute lil Fourth of July bikini you’ll be wearing. A week to come up with some new, specific, measurable goals for yourself. A week to use all your muscles to flip off the February switch in your head!!

Come on ladies!!! We can do this!!
