I recently started tracking my food and it really helps me as before I didn't really quite know how much I was eating--I like having a calorie range to aim for. I've tried the Spark recipe Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken and I give it an A for tasty and easy. The other recipe I've tried (Spark) is the applesauce meatloaf - I'd give it a B and it also is very easy to make. I'm going to make the Spark Recipe Pineapple Teriayki Chicken tomorrow it's another slow cooker recipe and sounds yummy--I'll let you know if it is. emoticon

Food Challenge#2 - Try a new Recipe

*Eggs-n-Oats*
It sounds a bit weird but it is Delicious, Quick & Easy, and Fills you up until Lunchtime.

Just combine 1 egg, 2 egg whites, 1/2C milk, and 1/2 cup oatmeal. Scramble it like you scramble eggs. I put pumpkin pie spice and no-sugar gravenstein applesauce on mine. A complete breakfast with lots of protein and fiber. My daughter added salsa verde to hers and loved it too.

I am not dependable for Challenges, but I do record all of my food. Even the little dish of ice cream. That is the only way that I can control what goes in this mouth. As I have heard from others, "If I bite it, I write it.
Challenge 2 I usually do at least once every week. I sometimes use it as a resource & then use my own measurements. I will try to remember to report back on what recipe's I have been using.
Both of these challenges are my leading resources.

There are two options to this FOOD challenge. You may chose which food challenge you want to take. Please post here to let us know which challenge you will do and then re-post later this week when you finish your challenge.

Challenge #1- Tracking ALL of your FOOD at least three days this week.

Challenge #2- Make One new recipe from SparkRecipies. Let us know which one you made and if you liked it. Include the link to it so we can check it out
