I find weights much easier to use! It seems like the bands rub on my legs. I have tried more than once and just prefer weights....

So which do you feel is easier to work out with
Weights or bands?
I know working out with bands is the new thing but I guess I am old school and I really like weights.
I still needs to get a stability ball for at home.

Okay tried the spaghetti squash and pork Asian stir-fry last night. I added broccoli and for my husband put his on rice. We enjoyed it. I have to admit it wasn't as great as the chicken and acorn squash tacos (yes still talking about those tacos) but it was a different meal and it was good. Hope everyone is accomplishing their goals following the best body now plan.
I actually just got the Feb 2011 issue so happy reading!

Settled the debate the chicken and acorn squash tacos are SOOSOOO worth the trip to the store. My husband loved them, I loved them and they will be something we eat in our household many times over again!
We did ours without the avocado (just couldn't find a ripe on...weird I know) and they were delicious!
If you can't tell I am raving about them! I am going to try the stir fry pork recipe newt week on the day it is scheduled so I will keep everyone posted!
TRY THEM!
With working out portion...I am not as sore as I was last week but I worked out with the same level of intensity so I am looking forward to increasing the sets to three this week and I am also going to use a wider band for at least one set to have more resistance.
Good luck with everyone's progress thus far....KEEP IT UP!

BE CAREFUL emoticon doing the one-legged calf press. The band kept slipping off my foot and almost got me in the face. emoticon

Perhaps I had it wrapped wrong or not tight enough???

Ok ladies I have been slacking! My mom came to visit me from Ohio for the Holidays. I was so engrossed in her visit that I didn't pick up a book, a mag or a healthy meal. I did not do good at all. I just had fun which was bad of me I know. But I am going to get back on track. I hope you al had a Wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year beginnings.

I will start the WO portion today...will look at the meal plan too...will do the cardio on my own since I need to keep up with my HM training which is at the end of the month...

I am one week into the month's remake your body plan. I started the exercises on 12/27 but will start the meal plan this Monday! The exercise portion with the bands has been great...my legs are still sore from the lower body workout and my biceps and triceps. I have had resistance bands for about 6 months but just really didn't have a good idea of how to use them. I am also glad that my kit came with a door anchor that helps so much with most all of the movements!
Let me know what you like and how you like eating the different squash meals!

I started the three-month "reclaim your body" plan today! I really appreciate that it starts at a very basic level, since I got winded walking down the stairs to start my workout! I also like that the workouts are only about a half hour. Even I can't make up an excuse to not spend that amount of time on myself!

I have a magazine addiction and receive more magazines than I can read in a month. That said - I read my entire Oxygen magazine each month without fail. Looking forward to digging into the January edition this weekend. I will check out the meal plan to see if I will join you!

Has anyone got theirs? Mine came yesterday. I am looking forward to trying the 14-day fat squashing meal plan. I am having a hard time loosing weight. I hope this helps me.
