Tonight I tried the Unilateral w/o from the Nov. issue.
I found it a bit different from my usual w/os: first of all because even though my usual w/os include a few unilateral exercises, they're not 100% unilateral, and second: in the case of unilateral ex., I do both sides at the same time (bicep curl, etc etc).

My thoughts of it: I find it more like an exercise of awareness, totally acknowledging more the working side, 100% of one's attention and thoughts go straight to that working side, which is good - it kinda feels like I might be pushing more than usual.

Has anyone else tried it? I'd love to hear other opinions on this!

I read about half of the Nov issue when it first arrived, but finally got a chance to read more.

I'm going to do the Unilateral Workout in the Build Sexy Symmetry article (starting page 86). The article mentions that it can activate some different muscles.

Also, to the earlier comments -- I'm definitely one that saves old copies and goes and pulled old routines. My strength training had slacked a little while I was in my final prep for the 3 Day (walked 60 miles in 3 days). Now I'm so ready to get back at it!

The first thing I noticed was Tosca's hairstyle on the cover. I love it! Next, there's a new "Off the Couch" issue available, I need to get. And of course all of the routines are the best, which I think every month. I'm thinking of taping the "exhale" pages around my room for motivation.

I have a bucketload of old issues that I keep. When I get bored, I will pull out an old issue and try the routines. Keeps it fresh and also reminds me of some good ones that I had forgotten about.
I think that is a wonderful idea to create a binder! I may have to get inspired this winter and try that!

I'm kinda a weirdo.... BUT I'll say it anyways. I actually pull out routines and recipes that I like and keep them in a binder collection. LOL. I have a book with the routines I like in plastic sleeves that I refer to when I want to mix something up. The recipes are in one of the sticky page type books so I can cut and insert them in whatever area they fall under. I know, I know, call me weird, but it helps keep me organized!
