When I was working it was easy to get in 10,000 steps. I want to get back to doing that. In the past (over a) week I haven't gotten much over 4,000. I managed to get 11,000 yesterday!

I have exceeded my goals the past 3 weeks, but I am having jaw surgery on Tuesday, so this week I am cutting my usual 100,000 steps, 200 floors, and 40 miles way down. Thinking I can get 50,000 steps, 50 floors, and 20 miles

7/7: 14,176 steps, 5 floors, 5.92 miles
7/8 15,305 steps, 40 floors, 6.39 miles
7/9 1,663 steps, 2 floors, .69 miles (7am surgery)
7/10 1,401 steps, 0 floors, .59 miles
7/11 1,115 steps, 1 floor, .47 miles
7/12 4,698 steps, 20 floors, 1.96 miles
7/13 2,902 steps, 8 floors, 1.21 miles

Goal steps: 50,000
total steps: 41,260
Goal floors: 50

goal miles: 20
total miles: 17.23

Surgery kept me down more/ longer than I expected! Tried doing more on Friday and really felt it on Saturday. Keeping it low again for the coming week.

I am going to keep my daily goal to 24,000 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 175,000. I will now track my total Active Time. My goal is to keep it above 7 hours daily. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Our thread continues to grow each week. I would continue to ask that members who join our thread use the EDIT feature on their initial entry. Doing so will keep this thread manageable and also make it easier to track each member's daily progress. An easy way to find your initial entry is to hold down the CTRL key and your F key. This will bring up your FIND box. Enter your SparkName and hit enter. This will take you to your first entry. Click on the EDIT MY POST button and add your steps for that day. Then just click on the POST MESSAGE button and you have edited your entry! If you have any questions/comments please send me a SparkMail.
