Right now I feel like a slacker in comparison to some of you. Still have that Spring Break mentality. Need to get out of this funk!

OK, so far so good. I did manage to do the 10 minute DVD workout 2 days in a row. I will keep pushing myself. Got a little walk in today. Had to go to the store to get a new battery for my FitBit. Thought I had one, but didn't. I got an email saying the battery was low so didn't want to take a chance. I walk about half way to the store.

I can do this!

Me neither, tomorrow is another day. I will keep trying. Need to stop letting the TV distract me as well as the housework and crafts I enjoy doing.

I will get this figured out!

Didn't have a good week, but will keep trying. First week of Spring Break was pretty hectic. Things should calm down starting tomorrow.

Goal is still 10,000 a day. and 1 lb a week

Motivation is my biggest problem. Have plans to walk the lake with a friend tomorrow. Hoping that will get me motivated to continue with the exercise.

Anyone know if there are plans to have a fitbit icon we can add to our page?

I'm aiming for at least 8000 steps a day. On Spring Break and trying to catch up on the sleep I've been lacking. Need to get out of that "Vacation" mentality and start moving more. Still have 3 weeks of vacation, I know I can do this and get the scale moving again.

Last week was a big week. I was on vacation and I could spend most of the day walking. This week won't be as easy. I plan on walking 12,000 steps a day. I have a lot of desk work in the next couple of weeks, so I will have to work hard to reach that goal.

Raul I am still new to the Fitbit this week and have started with a modest goal of 5000 steps. I will move this up as I consistently meet this goal.
I am very intrigued by your focus on both losing weight and building muscle. How do you build muscle in the Fitbit program? Or do you do strength training in addition to your step goals?

I am not going to set a goal for this week, but will get in as many steps as I can between all the family activities we have this entire week. My foot pain is better after not walking my normal 30k+ steps last week, and will be seeing the doctor this week. UGH.

I am going to increase my daily goal to 24,000 steps per day and increase my weekly goal to 175,000. I will also be tracking my daily active score (trying to keep it above 1000 each day). I will be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I love all the activity on this thread! Welcome to each and every one of you and I hope that accomplish your goals this week.

I continue to be overwhelmed by the response from the SP community when it was announced that the FB site would be syncing with the SP site. As of the posting of this post, we are now at 9,875 members strong! Wow, that is 208 more than last week! Our team should be breaking the 10,000 member barrier this coming week! That is awesome!
Welcome to all of our new team members and thank you for joining our weekly steps goal!!!

This week I will continue to focus on losing weight and building muscle. I have set my FitBit Food Plan for a half pound loss per week and have successfully been losing at least that for the past nine weeks! I love using this plan as I can adjust my calories up or down depending on how active I have been to that point.

-Thanks again for joining this goal! Good luck in achieving them this week! Who will join me!!!

One more week in the books! This past week I totaled 188,761 steps for an average of 26,965 steps per day. My total VAMs were 340 for an average of over 48 per day. My average Active Score for the week was 1195 and I climbed a total of 81 floors! Another great week! Now let's move on to next week. Won't you please join me?
