My fitbit has been a real inspiration to me and I've been moving way more. I'm going to set my goal for this week at 13,000 steps per day, as an average. This means 91,000 steps for the week.

I'm shooting for 10,000 steps a day. I don't have any stairs, and the ladder to the roof, which gives me floors credit, is too rickety to climb very often. I am using much more incline on the treadmill, though.

After last week's psychological struggle reaching my daily step goal, my goal is back down to 8,000 steps per day. As before, I will do my best to have the majority of these steps before I get home from work in the evenings.

What I learned this week:
Apparently, I really like even numbers (8000) as opposed to odd numbers (8500) because psychologically, my goal was much easier to reach every day this week. I also did better at getting a large number of steps in before I left work each day which made it easier to hit my goal in the evening with a stroll up to the post office or down the block and back.

I am going to keep my daily goal to 23,500 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 170,000. I will also be tracking my daily active score (trying to keep it above 1000 each day). I will be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I continue to be overwhelmed by the response from the SP community when it was announced that the FB site would be syncing with the SP site. As of the posting of this post, we are now at 7,236 members strong! Wow, that is over 386 more than last week! This upcoming week ends with Super Bowl Sunday which is probably the biggest snack day of the year so it is imperative to move in order to accommodate those extra calories.
