I am so happy for the last couple of weeks my VAM has been 3 or 4 mins but tonight I got 35mins, wow so awesome!! Shoulder is getting better, and I can do exerbeat again.

AEHEGE--Just make sure whatever you are doing for your VAM is in 5 minute continuous moments. If you stop at 4 minutes they usually will convert to fairly active minutes.

My goal will be 75,000 steps for the week.

I would also like to set a goal for VAM, but I can't seem to control that. Doing the same thing sometimes counts as VAM and sometimes not. I would also like to decrease my "sedentary", but not sure what is reasonable. I will just track this week and then go from there.

Sun: 10,652 steps; Sedentary 11:11; VAM - 6 min
Mon: 11,301 steps; Sedentary 10:48; VAM 5 min.

I am setting my goals based on what I did the previous week. My weekly goal for steps is 161,000 which is 23,000 a day. I will set my weekly VAM at 7 hours (420 minutes). It is always much easier for me to push harder on weekends.

I like the idea of making an overall weekly goal rather than a daily goal so I think I will stick to that for now.

Weekly step goal: 80,500
Weekly VAM: 90 mins

04/22: 3036 steps / VAM = 0
04/23: 10344 steps / VAM = 17
04/24: 10578 steps / VAM = 27
04/25: 10871 steps / VAM = 37
04/26: 12174 steps / VAM = 29
04/27: 12262 steps / VAM = 25
04/28: 13546 steps / VAM = 86

Total steps = 72811
VAM = 221

I didn't make my steps goal, but each day I did more steps than the day before. I killed my VAM goal though. Woohoo!

Okay dropping my steps back to 10,000 a day, and my stairs to 10 flights a day to see how I will get on, still in a lot of pain but I can do this if I try!!

Had a good 2 weeks in a row! This week my goals are as follows:
Total Steps- 76,000
Total VAM- 30 minutes
Total Floors- 95 again

4/22: 19,454 steps/ 101 VAM (PB) / 12 floors
4/23: 10,605 steps/ 1 VAM/ 11 floors
4/24: 10,554 steps/ 8 VAM/ 10 floors
4/25: 11,308 steps/ 5 VAM/ 8 floors
4/26: 10,326 steps/ 0 VAM/ 11 floors
4/27: 9,614 steps/ 12 VAM/ 24 floors
4/28: 9,704 steps/ 4 VAM/ 13 floors

TOTAL STEPS: 81,565
TOTAL VAM's: 131 minutes
TOTAL FLOORS: 89 floors

Well I'd like to say 2 out of 3 isn't bad- but this is the 3rd week in a row I have NOT reached my floor goal! And it's beginning to upset me!!!!!

OK I am going to join you! I have been scared to because I don't really do too many steps on days I don't run, and I want to be able give my legs a rest/recovery day. But I will try to push it more than I have! So I am going to make weekly goals; days may vary. I also like a weekly VAM goal. So,

I am going to keep my daily goal to 21,500 steps per day and my weekly goal to 160,000. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!
