Linda, you are welcome. I really meant what I said. My Dad has a medical case worker because he is on dialysis she's really great with him. So I know what the difference it makes when the right person is there. Take care.
Ducky thanks for the compliment. It really does make me feel good to help them. When I'm having a down day and I go do home visits with my elderly or disabled clients it really gives me a lift and makes me realize my problems are not as bad as I think they are.

I woke up and saw how nice it was out and had to smile. Then I had a lovely walk to market with my wagon in tow. Got a great hall of fresh produce and went for a nice morning coffee with friends. Then came home and went for a short run. Really nice in this weather. Then met a friend and went for a long walk. Then caught a sale on under armor on the way home. All in all a great morning.
I went to breakfast with a friend and 2 of my granddaughters. That made me happy. Hope to go for a run in a little bit when the food digests. It's really cool here today. I do case management for elderly and disabled who are on Medicaid and receive in home services. Yesterday I went to meet with a new client assigned to me and his wife and daughter. The mco that has the other contract with the state for Medicaid had been to see them last week because there had been a mess up and they had been assigned to the wrong mco when they wanted us. They kept telling me how impressed they were with me and got answers they didn't get from the "competitor". Usually the two companies don't have this overlap. It made me feel so good that they felt I was very professional and able to supply answers they hadn't gotten before. That made me feel very happy and proud.
That is a good feeling isn't Nancy. I posted a blog about a month ago about a homeless vet I met on one of my runs. I have been working to help him and others.
I ran 14 miles yesterday and did not feel like running at all today. I encouraged myself to get out there for a slow run. I got out there and ran 10 miles. That made me happy. My special needs child just kissed my head. That made me very happy.
