I was reading one of the spark blogs www.dailyspark.com/blog.asp?post=improve_y
our_mood_with_this_2minute_exercise

this blog really clicked with me. We need to practice gratitude more often. Just thinking about positives in one's life helps the brain stay positive. I really believe this. I say daily affirmations and notice when i don't i don't do as well.

So for this challenge lets write down daily or as close to daily of the little things we are grateful for in our lives. Start with the small things like your grateful for your calendar that keeps your busy life in check, friends, spark friends etc..

Come up with 3-5 things that make your life better than it would otherwise be at that moment, and write them down. These don't have to be big things--in fact, this will probably work better if you focus on little things that change from day to day. So you might include something like being grateful for not having a headache, or enjoying your morning coffee that day, or having a pleasant moment with a family member or friend.Just sit down for two minutes and think about what you have to be grateful for today.
