I think it is time for this team to have a challenge. It is now spring, and the weather is getting gorgeous in most areas. This helps me a lot to be motivated to walk, because I would rather be outside walking than walking on a treadmill. Plus it is the time of the year that we start having to mow, push mow your yard it is a great workout, or working out in the garden. While you are sprucing up your yard you will also be doing something great for your own body.
So here is the challenge for this month:
Get outside and let's rack up those fitness minutes. The goal is to reach 60,000 fitness minutes this month. With all the things you can do outside in the spring, plus your normal workouts the minutes will really add up.
Now we are going to have teams for this and there will be a special prize for the winning team members. Here is how the team break down will work:
If your birthday is from January to June you will be on team A
If your birthday is from July to December you will be on Team B
Please post on this challenge which team you are on, and your fitness minutes. Then add your minutes to the previous person from your team to keep a running total of the minutes for your team. I hope to see many people involved in this challenge, including myself.
