Eating out - menu choices are key. A lean meat, veggie, sweet potato. Even 3 margaritas has a wonderful lean salad with chicken or dish. Leave the tortilla chips off. Bennigans has a weight watchers menu, look for these items. Steak house? Perfect - the lean cut, sirloin, 4-6 oz, veggies, salad, dressing on the side.
Beer with the neighbors? Diet hard lemonaid. 100 calories, make sure you sip slowly. :)
I've been trying to get healthy & I feel like my family & friends are fighting me. My husband buys wine & wants to take me out to eat. I wish I could live in a bubble & eat what I want without the influence of others. I can eat SO healthy & exercise & do well during the week & wreck it on the weekends. I live in a great neighborhood with awesome people who LOVE to sit by the fire drinking BEER every weekend. Yeah, that's tough for me. I don't want to be antisocial but I feel left out. I have gotten better & limited myself by drinking rrreeeaaalll sssslllooowww. LOL. I'm highly motivated to exercise & have been doing fabulous! I've been doing Billy's Bootcamp Cardio workout for about 3 weeks & am loving it. I've lost inches everywhere which is awesome but am struggling to get my weight down because of all the get togethers and alcohol. See - I need a bubble!! Just needed to vent. Any advice?
