Lol! I don't get the chance to watch these over here but it looks like I am missing a lot!
With regards to #4 ...people do all kinds of things like that when they are in a hurry. I was working under a sous chef once who, in a rush, ran his knife along the side of his chef pants to wipe it off and it sliced right through the pants and into his leg!

1) The recent amateur episode of Chopped -- okay, I know these people don't have professional training or experience, and I can understand how one of them didn't know how to butcher the scallops properly. But how did he not know to wash the SAND off? I knew that when I was five!
2) Where on earth is Ramsay getting these yahoos? I see so many terrific chefs on Chopped -- I guess they're not applying for Hell's Kitchen. If Zach wins, I'm not watching again. There is absolutely NO WAY Chef Michael should have been cut ahead of him.
3) Masterchef this week. Beaver tail -- seriously???
4) Watching Chopped All-Stars. I couldn't believe Sunny Anderson cut herself when she wrapped her fingers around her knife blade to clean it. With her experience, she should really have known better.
