I think this should be a continuing thing. We will see how many people are interested. I have a September list but only because I have some short term memory loss and have the habit or getting the same book more than once. LOL At the first of the month, each month, we could post what we have read or listened to?

Thanks for this excellent Monthly Challenge, Ann. I know I'm going to enjoy it.

Right now I'm reading (slowly -- eyes, you know) a hefty book by Salman Rushdie, 'Conrad Anton', a just published memoir of the difficult years of the global death sentence fatwa issued on him. This won't be on audio for awhile, when it is, I hope he will read it himself. He's a fine speaker, actor, and reader. More on this later.

SINCE MANY PEOPLE DIDN'T WRITE DOWN WHAT THEY READ OR LISTENED TO IN SEPTEMBER, I THINK WE WILL START WITH OCTOBER. IT ALSO DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU FEEL IT MAY BE A CONTROVERSIAL BOOK - AS LONG AS IT ISN'T FILTH! THERE ARE MANY POLITICAL BOOKS OUT THERE RIGHT NOW THAT ARE VERY INTERESTING. SO BEGIN WRITING DOWN YOUR BOOKS AND THE FIRST WEEK IN NOV. WE WILL POST THEM. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS ONE BOOK OR ONE DOZEN. THIS IS NO CONTEST, JUST TO GIVE US MORE IDEAS OF THINGS WE MAY WANT TO READ OURSELVES.

Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs
should relax and get used to the idea.
