I did a new dvd today called Walk Off Weight from Prevention it was good but hard for me to keep up

Well first off it a great dvd....there are five sections of the dvd...it works on core upper lower and full body workouts.....it's challenging for me because I have a bad knee and me and lunges just don't get along....

She does something called serrated pushups where she's on her knees in the core workout so it's no good for me...The core workout was extremely difficult for me to do...I don't have enough body strenght to complete most of it...but it's good stuff I of course can't think of all the names of the moves she does but I think you'll like it

The lower body wasn't much better for me...lunges and squats bending of the knees...this is a great dvd but I would not recommend it for anyone who has knee problems there's a lot of work on the knees

The upper body was much easier for me...you need some weights though I used 5 lb weights it's a very short workout though only about 10 mins...

You should get the dvd....I think you'll like it

Sounds like it was fun though! I figure, if you can laugh and have fun while exercising...that makes it all the easier to do.

And....coordination is over-rated anyway. Anyone can learn the two-step....but people like us...we can do the two-step using 5 or more steps....I think we get our money's worth!

By the way, almost forgot to add...tonight was Boot Camp night. I got through it all....but why oh why do I do cardio right before to warm up?!?!!?

My wife has done the Zumba class....but the times they are offered has not coincided well with our schedules of late. She has mentioned to me to try it...not so much because she thinks I'll like it...more cause she knows I have a HORRIBLE sense of rhythem!

With the Irish dancing I am ok now (in fact, I am part of a group and we have a performance this Labor Day)...but that is after months and months and months of me dancing with two...no wait....THREE left feet. But the people are nice and its fun.

By the way...I seem to always get the same Spark wheel points as you. The wheel is rigged!

My wife has been going...and she convinced me to go to...which is good, because then we each encourage the other to go when we don't want to...and also we feel better when we go...we certainly feel we accomplish things. I got a new video, Bob Harper's power burn or something. It is a strength trainging DVD. I did the 20 minute beginner section. The other section is one hour. I watched parts of it and I swear one of the girls in the video is crying. Going to work slowly into the full hour. Then I cleaned out my son's room for 5 hours. It looks so nice now. Hope it stays that way.

One of my favorite exercises is the TurboJam DVDs. Let me tell you, by the time I am finished I have been sweating and have had an accelerated heart rate, almost since I began. It is fun and it truly is a good workout. Highly highly recommend!
