Tel No One by Harlan Coben.
A message has appeared on Dr. David Beck's computer, a phrase only he and his dead wife know. Suddenly Beck is taunted with the impossible–that somewhere, somehow, Elizabeth is alive. This book is a suspenseful page turner which I enjoyed.

Yeah, I thought it was quite well done too! I don't generally read Stephen King. I think he's a good writer, but it's not my favorite genre. i just finished The Bookman's Tale by Charlie Lovett. It was ok, but not great.

More books to add to my list!
I am reading Ghostwritten by David Mitchell. He also wrote Cloud Atlas.
This is short vignettes of a wide variety of people living in Japan, modern day. I'm not very far in, but so far the different people have wandered in and out of each other's stories without any impact. For example, one character notices the young lovers from a previous story in a seaside tea shop. None have interacted yet. I'm enjoying it. He's a good writer.

Just finished Cane River by Lalita Tamedy, a fictionalized account of several generations of women in the author's family and their experiences from the time they were slaves till they became free. This was an absorbing book. I feel like I got to know these ladies and am all the better for it. I laughed, cried, was surprised. A great story of the human spirit.

I am also reading a mystery by Dennis Lehane and it is good too. He wrote Mystic River. This one is Moonlight Mile.

I loved "Caveman's valentine." Did a movie get made of this? I 'd love to see it. I am reading "the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." It is non-ficiton, but is written sorta like fiction and very interesting.
I also started another Dennis LeHane Book, Moonlight MIle at work I read at lunch time.

I'll have to check that out. I just finished Imagination by Jonah Lehrer. Non-fiction about creativity, not just in the arts but in all areas of life, I really enjoyed it. Lots of examples and stories of how creativity works in a variety of ways, and not too much hard science for my unscientific brain.

Finished Falling Through the Earth by Danielle Trussoni. A memoir of her growing up the daughter of a man who searched tunnels in Viet Nam. It included how it was considering his residual problems, chapters about his experience in Viet Nam, and chapters about her visit to Viet Nam. Excellent writer, absorbing memoir.
