Hi Life has been rough the past few weeks, hoping to get back to eating healthy and continue to try and get my cholesterol down. Had a huge event in my life and not dealing well. Hopefully this will take my mind of somewhat. Went off of my healthy eating and it started a bad and long downward cycle. Good luck everyone on attaining your goals.
After over a month on SP, the one goal I have the hardest time sticking to is my WATER. So, once again, that is my goal for this week. To drink at least 8 cups per day. I've just never been one to drink when I am not thirsty and forcing that change in me has been difficult. Any tips?

When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. This is going to be the start of a hard 2-week period, with company coming from various places, and a big dinner at my house for same. It will be a great challenge. To be realistic, I think the best I can do is to keep track of what I eat. Now that I've had a month of practice, I don't have to work so hard to find healthy alternatives.
