Hey, ladies, I'm sorry I've been away for a while. First it was Insanity (man, Shaun T is kicking my butt) then I got a FitBit... Seems like I'll be spending less and less time here on SP.
So, I'm leaving you now but first I'd like to thank you for your support - it's been a great two months challenge and I've learned so much from you.
I'm so happy you found each other, LOJACK73 and MERCHRIS!
Wishing you an interesting and very rewarding journey, Sylvie
Hey buddy! Thanks for another great workout! It was good to yet again be able to fuss and cuss with someone through the 40 minutes. We definitely feel each others pain.
Workout: Biggest Loser on Kinect - 40 minutes Food: Super Amazing - might actually make it within our calorie count Water: 11 glasses
What would be super cool is if we could get Chalene to make a kinect Turbo workout!

Cranestar-good luck with Insanity! Let us know how you like it.
Wed and Thur, worked out via xbox live with my buddy. Seriously, I never though a video game could put a hurting on me, but it has and it did! I'm pretty happy about that. It is so much fun working out with a friend that I don't dread it! Thanks buddy!
Food has been pretty good, still working on getting in all my water. It gets a little harder for me the cooler it gets, so I have to be really concious of it right now. It was easier when I was at work because we had a handy water cooler and I just had to fill my big ole water bottle!

Hey, LOJACK73, I do feel great after a Chelene workout but with Insanity it's different. I'm guessing either Insanity is way out of my league or Chalene's workouts are somewhere in my comfort zone... I can barely move after the Insanity WO - I'm so sore I have headaches... I feel miserable because I keep on discovering in what terrible shape I must be... and I thought I was doing well. I thought I was quite fit despite the extra pounds. Anyway, sorry for the rambling. It's my first week - it'll probably get better. :) Besides, with that intensity, or should I say insanity, there's no chance I don't get good results.
Day 59 (01/04)
workout: Insanity Power Cardio & Resistance food: good water: 11 glasses
Don't you just love hurting from a great workout. Once I get back into the swing of things hot and heavy...I might just give insanity a try!
Keep up the good work Cranestar!

Day 57 (01/02)
workout: Insanity fit test food: getting back to a healthy diet is not so hard as getting down to a low calorie diet - still working on it water: 12 glasses
Happy 2nd Day of 2012 and the last day of vacation - boo hoo!
Workout: BL workout with my buddy! I am so sore that I can barely move. I was sore going into it. My husband keeps calling me grandma. I cringe at moving - that should make for an entertaining day back to work. Ha Ha!
Food: Breakfast and dinner - had to shovel 14" of snow out of the driveway! I loathe snow! Water: 118.5 oz. - water tastes so good today. hmmmmmm
I am looking forward to another workout tomorrow evening with my buddy! You are a rockstar! We shall get that butt in shape along with my entire large body. I don't want to be the stay puff marshmallow girl on the kinect. LOL. Have a great night ladies. I am off to get a few hours of sleep before I wake up and do a workout to meet my PUSH goals.
I am following Chalene Johnson's Push program. Day #2 homework done....Awesome! It is inspirational for sure!

Happy New Year all!!
So far so good, year is off to a good start. As my buddy stated, we met up this morning for a little workout on the ole xbox. Bob kicked out butts, which is what we needed. It was a lot of fun to have a workout buddy to commiserate with my aches and pains! We're on for tomorrow as well and looking forward to it.
Eating today has been pretty good, although I could drink more water which I'm currently working on.
Let's do this in 2012 because I'm tired of saying that every year!!! I CAN do this!

Hello Ladies! I hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas holiday. We are quickly approaching 2012. I am not sure about anyone else, I am ready for a New Year! I definitely can't wait. I welcome 2012 with open arms.
I would like to apologize for my absence over the past 10 days. I have been battling with a horrible migraine. After not having once since February, it decided to make up for lost time. Through a couple of chiropractic adjustments, it is gone. And to further solidify its departure, my husband sent me off to the massage therapist for a 2 hours deep tissue massage. Holy Crap, her deep tissue massage found 12 knots in my neck and back. And lord knows she did her best to get them all out - although unsuccessful in getting them all out. She did such a great job and completely relaxing me for almost two hours. LOL
I am excited because I got my PUSH book from Barnes and Noble. For those of you who are interested, Chalene Johnson will be on Live with Kelly on Monday. (Kelly Rippa) I am excited to see her episode. I am happy that she met her goal by becoming #1 Best Seller. She has truly inspired and motivated millions of people for the better.
Now that my buddy has BL for Kinect, I am hoping that we can meet online for a workout. It should be a lot of fun! It is the next best thing to working out together when we are miles apart. Wishing each of you a Happy and Blessed 2012. Be safe if you head out for the evening.

Late night attacks are the worst but managing to go to bed is definitely the best answer. I also drink a cup of tea if I really crave something late at night and don't wanna go to bed yet. I hate to say, though, I've been a real bad girl lately but it's so hard when your birthday is between Christmas and NY.
Day 50 (12/26)
workout: none food: not good (PMS cravings) water: 8 glasses
Workout: ran 3 miles, walked cool down .37 miles, intense bike 8 miles Food: good Water: 9 glasses Merchiris, dont worry about the eatiing, new year, new start ;) I found that ever since my cruise to Bermuda in SEPTEMBER, I have been craving sweets! Damn those dessert buffets!!! lol! It goes away gradually but it definately is a struggle for me now, even eating later, I almost made a snack at 11PM last night, but I just kept thinking about how I get on the scale every morning and how badly i wanted to see it go down! I said to myself, "i am going to sleep, cant be hungry if i am sleeping!!"

Hi everyone,
I hope everybody had a nice holiday. I won't say I ate well, because I didn't. Well, I ate GOOD things, just not good for you! So, here I go. I will say that I'm having a hard time getting rid of sugar cravings, and that's proving to be my tough spot. If I could get past that, then I would get on a serious roll. I swear, so hard.
So, anyway, today I did some walking, and I got the BL workout for kinect and did a couple of challenges. Not enough cardio, but it's a start for right now. I promise to do better tomorrow!

Hi all,
I just wanted to pop in and say Merry Christmas!
Cranestar...I totally understand. I'm having some motivational issues lately as well, but I'm really trying to get a plan together this weekend (yes, this weekend!) and get back to it. I'm not happy with where I'm at, and I'm the only one that can change it. I just get so frustrated with myself when it doesn't go as quickly or as well as I want. I guess I have to forgive even myself sometimes...go figure.
Workout: 12 miles intense bike, 45 min Food: good :) Water: 9 glasses
Hang in there Cranestar!! We all have ruts we go through, just keep posting good or bad and we are all here for u!! :)

I had a terrible weekend - no matter how hard I tried things started alright but ended up very bad - food, water, exercise, relationships - a real nightmare.
The best example is me craving salty late Sunday night when I don't even like salty. I bet it was just my subconscious making me feel even worse... Because I knew I'd have to do my weekly weigh-in in the morning...
Day 34 (12/10)
workout: none (rest day) food: under 1000 kcal - not good water: 50 oz
Day 35 (12/11)
workout: none :( food: over 2000 kcal water: 85 oz
Anyway, I'm not going to waste time feeling sorry. I'm starting the week strong!!!
Workout: P90X Core (ouchie waa waa) Food: Vegetarian - love this style of eating Water: 84 oz
I love my jamming ladies. We accept the challenge and will see it through the holidays. Each one of you are amazing and thank you for your motivation. I thoroughly enjoyed the first 30 days and happy to do another 30 with you all.
Merchris: I hope you feel better soon. But in the meantime, enjoy that kinect. I am loving mine too.....
Wishing you a speedy recovery on the flu/strep throat/virus. Just remember doctors have a practice therefore, they are merely practicing.....I understand your frustration. Get better soon!
