Hi everyone! Wow--you are all doing amazing! I just rediscovered this group and I am so glad that I did!!

I have lost a good bit weight recently--due to health problems--so I am thinner, but not toned and lovely like I would like to be. I just dug out my SiS DVDs and decided to give it a try again. So, today was day 2 of Start it Up. (And I am sore!!!! Yikes!!! I can't imagine doing the full RIU workout. . . . .)

Anyway, I am going to really try to stick with it and tone up.

Hi guys. I'm stopping in to say "Hi." I'm still hanging in here with you. Slim In 6 is still part of my routine a couple of times a week. It's part of my exercise plan today. I've also added a Total Gym workout 4 days a week. I'm not weighing in until Monday (on purpose) to see if my new setup is having any effect. Eating clean has also become the norm with me. I hope you all have a great week and a fabulous weekend!

Hi Luvya04, there is a lot of jumping around in TurboFire...tons!!! As a matter of fact, there is a disclaimer at the beginning of all DVDs that says persons with neck, back and knee problems are not suppose to attempt TurboFire

Hi I have been using Slim in 6 the slim series along w/ some yoga and walk/jogging.
@LENKEES how do you like Turbo fire? I would love to get that set. Is there alot of jumping? I have a hard time doing alot.

My turn to be a little disappointed in the scale 126.0, I wanted to see 125 today but I guess not....it was going back and & forth from 125.8 to 126...oh well, I have lost 49.6 pounds so I am really proud of that. Besides I am not done yet!!!

I am leaving today for Greece!!!! If I have internet access I will keep in touch.

Keep up the good work ladies!!! I will try to do the same during my vacation. I will try to stay as active as possible and watch my calories.

I was a little dissapointed today on the scale. I thought for sure with my workouts and water that I would be back down around the 184 or below. 185.8 today....went up yet again.

I looked at my tracker and I didn't meet my calorie expectations yesterday...(1200 barely) and I should be at 1300-1500...

will work on that this weekend. I really really realy want to be at 179 by the 1st. Just to say I did it.

Way to go Melina!

I am struggling with my calories now. I normally have between 1200 and 1550. TurboFire recommended 1900 based on the intensity of the workouts and the amount of weight I have to lose. I have been making up the extra 300 + calories with junk! Ugh!!!

BB thank you so much.

One thing that has helped me out a lot is that I start my day always with a big bowl of plain oatmeal (the one that you have to cook for 15-20 min) and a coffee

Second thing is smoothies. I make them with plain Greek yogurt that has 18 grams of protein per serving and no added sugar, 1% milk 1 whole Banana and frozen fruit (strawberries, wild blueberries, peaches etc) yummy and very satisfying. I have 2 a day.

Good morning everyone!!!

Goodybar CONGRATULATIONS ON 2 POUNDS GONE!!!!!!

Ladies one thing I noticed during my struggle to lose weight is you must watch your calories more then anything. No matter how much you exercise if you eat too much (and in some cases too little) you will not lose weight. I don't know about eating too little, never done that LOL. I also noticed that when you exercises too hard without rest the weight doesn't come off.

I am really happy to announce my weight this morning 126.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One pound away from my goal. I have lost 49 pounds to date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One more to go by Tuesday...yikes

I am still walking daily and busy active during my days.

KEEP MOVING LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to gain weight during my vacation 23 days is a long time.... besides staying active what else can I do not to gain???? I will be eating out the first week but then I will be cooking my own meals......it's the eating out that scares me and with the e coli scare in Europe I am afraid to have salads and fruit....:(

That's a good goal for the week...trying to find that balance! I'm either all in or not at all. Ugh! I've gained the 2lbs (186.7) but feeling pretty productive today. I need to remember to track as that really really helped iwth the accountability before. I've got to get back down pass the 184 again...that felt so mentally good :o)

Still a goal of 179 by July 1st...ooohhh...best do my last minute workouts then!! LOL

Thanks, Len! I'm still trying to find and keep that balance when it comes to eating clean and exercising. I love exercising so it's easy for me to overdo it. With eating clean, I'm amazes at how much my body loves it. I get the feeling that this is the way God meant for us to eat. Eating what comes out of the earth. We are from it so, it makes sense. Everyone should try it!

Congrats everyone on still pressing play! Awesome!

Way to go Goody on losing 2lbs. I think the same thing that happened to me is happening to you. you eat clean but exercise less and lose 2lbs...I eat more and exercise same and lose 2lbs. See the relationship between eating and working out...if we eat too little and exercise a lot, we will be in maintenance mode and no results. We have to continuously find that balance.

I started TurboFire and Level 2- 30 Day Shred on Thursday! Loving it!

I'm still with you guys! I'm still doing my walks and adding some weight lifting. My shoulder is not completely healed but, it's not keeping me awake at night. I find it interesting that I've lost 2 pounds this week. I'm eating clean and working out at a lighter pace. Hmmmmmm!

BLINDBATTY keep up the good work consistency is key. YOU CAN DO IT!!!! I was stuck up & down for the longest time eventually things will get moving.

Weight 127.6 I am so close to my goal weight!!!! 11 days left to my trip you think I can reach 125???? I will give it my best that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

How's everyone doing today? I did 25 minutes of Burn it Up yesterday, maily because I was so frustrated at the lunge level. It's been a year...will I EVER figure them out (balance) I got some tips via feed that I will try.

Going to a Barre class with my girls in a few so that will be 55 min of exercise plus I will be starting my run for 30 minutes plus I do want to finish my Burn it. I would just like to actually finish a fulll freaking six weeks....just once!!

I'm with you guys all the way! I'm in the process of eating clean. It's great, I love it although eating clean is more expensive than eating junk. My body loves it. Exercise is a bit difficult because of an injury to my right shoulder. I have plans to still include Slim In 6 as part of my program and well as weight lifting, but my shoulder is having none of it right now. So, I'm walking until my shoulder improves.

I am in. I now weigh 151.2. I want to see the 140s before July. I will be doing CLX's Lean for Life and Jillian Michaels' 30 day Shred in June and then start TurboFire in July.

Weight this morning 129.8 my body fat 24%

I fell of the wagon the last few days but got back into it as of yesterday. I also have to get motivated again, it's very hard to make time to workout when you have so many things to do!!!

I am planning to walk 1 hour tonight after supper. During the 3 weeks in Greece I am planning to walk daily and keep up my cardio. I am also planning to bring my slim in 6 CD and my elastic bands so I can press play as often as possible. I will be back to report July 13. If i have internet connection I will try to keep in touch.

Have a great 6 weeks everyone.

I didn't get on the scale today..yesterday was 185.6 so I'm going to gently ease back into my workout. Ok, not gently. I'm gonna tear into it with some serious motivational force!
