Great challenges! I'm already doing those things and it has helped me a lot in my journey. The past 10 days I've really gotten back to staying on track with both food and fitness. Those basics you list are so important!

This week's challenge:
1) "Living the good life" Challenge – Drink WATER Target 6-8 Cups daily
Drink water throughout the day, before, and during meals to help curb your appetite. Oftentimes, people think they are hungry when they are actually thirsty or dehydrated. Dehydration can slow metabolism, but the process of drinking water and warming it to body temperature involves energy and burns calories. Plus, being well hydrated gives the body at least 10 minutes more energy for exercise, according to a study in the International Journal of Sports Medicine. As Coach Nicole says, 'Aim for 8 glasses a day and you will feel the difference.'
If you have any kidney or adrenal problems, or your doctor has you taking diuretics, you need to consult with your doctor about how much water to drink each day.
Set a timer if you need to, but just start moving! Whether it's marching in place during your favorite TV show, following a DVD or cleaning the clothes off your exercise equipment (and using it - we're hoping just getting down to the exercise bike or treadmill doesn't take all weekend!), get at least 10 minutes of exercise. If you raise your heart rate, that's a bonus!
Set a realistic goal. Maybe target 10 minutes / 3 times a week or add on 10 minutes to you current exercise routine.
GOALS need to be REASONABLE (something you can DO for 12 weeks ), MEASURABLE (otherwise how do you know if you got there) and OBTAINABLE (something you can possibly do in 12 weeks). Going from couch potato to marathoner in 12 weeks is going to be tough. How about starting by adding just 10 minutes of exercise each day (or even just DOING at least 10 minutes of exercise each day)? Much more doable, right?
