Mine is "I'm changing my story" each time I find myself slipping into my "all or nothing' mode, I remember that was my old story. I now have a "I'm a healthy person who makes healthy choices" story knowing that heathy choices also means enjoying special treats occasionally without it meaning the doom and gloom of falling off track and giving up.
Quite liberating and working!!!!

move class at the VA working along with Sparks. Va keeps me accountable and keeps my motivation up. As my emotions go up and down so does my incentive to be on this healthy lifestyle is hard. AS long as I take my meds my incentive to lose weight is high.

I have created my own daily mantra. I have it posted on my mirror, refridgerator, and laptop. Each time I see it, I am required to say it (out loud or to myself). It reads as follows:

I am FOCUSED on my ability to achieve my goal.
I am READY to work on the skills that will enable me to attain my goal.
I CHOOSE to do everything in my power to extend my LIFE.
I no longer want to be a wall flower watching life go by.
I want to be ENGAGED and MAKING the decision that puts ME in control of the LIFE I have chosen.

I also use a smaller version of this mantra as part of my address at the end of all my messages.
