I don't buy songs off of iTunes to reward myself, but I do buy pretty much all my workout music on iTunes. I'll listen to music for free on Pandora, but when I come across a song that I really like or one that really motivates me during my workout, I go buy it off of iTunes. I have a little bit of everything on my iPhone from Classic Rock, to Hip-Hop, to Jazz, to Soundtrack music, to Classical to... Well you get the idea, lol.

I don't have an MP3 player. I did download a few tunes to my iPhone, but I usually forget I have them. When I do remember, I like to walk to Sousa marches or 70s disco tunes.

Yes, I downloaded some slower ones to start out on my bike and for cool downs. I bought some really fast songs from "Best Workout songs of 2012" that no matter how tired my legs are, I go fast to keep up with the beat of the music. Some of the fast ones are Katy Perry's "Firework", "I'm sexy and I know it" (This one's a killer, but I love it!) and Kelly Clarkson's (What doesn't kill you makes you) "Stronger". The hubs got me some gift cards for Christmas and one of them is an iTunes card, so I'm getting ready to pick out some more workout songs! Fun and a real calorie burner! emoticon

Great idea! I have yet to figure out how to do that without losing it on my MP3 player.

I was wondering who out there buys new iTunes to download to their MP3 players as a way to keep you motivated or as a reward for your exercise actions/ small steps to be more active.

I just recently did this and bought myself 2 new tunes that I always seem to turn up in my car that motivate and want to make me move.

Bruno Mars- Locked out of Heaven
Train- 50 ways to say goodbye (love the mariachy band)

This was to congratulate myself on my current pounds I am losing and for my consistent exercise efforts. How about you? emoticon
