I don't see why not. The SP program is based on 15 minutes of walking - I don't know anything about the Leslie Sansone program. I figure as long as you are walking, walk with us!

Would love to join you however I am already walking most days.....
Usually do around 40 to 60 mins so think I am a little too advanced....

Enjoy the 12 weeks though...it will be great....
you will be doing marathons next like I am....

Khatlady - I'm over in the Twin Cities and this week has been another amazing one of being able to walk outside but you're right, we're probably in for some serious shoveling soon. Like the karma of weather LOL

MrsBush, go up to the search box and type in "beginner walking workout" - it should be the first result you get below the solid line. Unfortunately I don't know how to post links yet LOL There you'll be able to read the full workout.

Basically it is a program that starts with 15 minutes - 5 minutes warm up, 5 minutes of brisk walking, 5 minutes of cool down - for the first week. From there, you add a couple of minutes of brisk walking per week to your workout.

KhatLady, fortunately I have a treadmill here at home or all I would be doing is shoveling this time of year also!

I have never done that and have been thinking about it. Here is where the lack of logic comes in. I am in Wisconsin. We have no snow and warm weather. Very unusual, especially since we have set snow records in the few previous years. So I figure if I officially join a walking program, my main exercise will be shoveling.
