Sometimes I'll do leg lifts and things like that while watching TV in the evenings.

Since I hurt my back I am mostly doing water aerobics and just hanging on a couple of water noodles for at least 15 minutes a day, doctors orders, to decompress my bones. Helps my back and knee.
In the senior complex I live in they do Wi bowling from their chairs once a week as an activity.

I have heard of them, but I am not sure what they are. I think for the time being I will stick with my running and squash. I am planning on talking with someone about strength training soon.....once I muster up the courage.

I think so modification if necessary is very important

i also love einsteen and the way he got his ideas I love to travel on the spur of the moment and i love portland oregon, hawaii. I enjoy all forms of art and the galleries

Remember - you don't have to join the team to use the YouTube channel and web site - and you don't have to be mobility limited - maybe you need a way to exercise at your desk in a wet or cold lunch time - or while watching sleeping children, or even that children can join you in!!

When I have flair ups of heel pain, it hinders me from walking. Our Slowest Loser member EMMABE1 helps lead the CHAIR EXERCISE TEAM. About six weeks ago I joined that team to give me an alternative way to exercise. One does not have to be in a wheel chair or chair bound to use and enjoy Chair Exercises, even Chair DANCING!

Are you looking for a way to exercise, even though you are not up on your feet? Perhaps you are in a wheel chair. Perhaps you are not steady on your feet because of one reason or another. Perhaps your weight hinders you from doing much exercise. Perhaps you just do not LIKE to exercise! Try sitting down when you exercise. Try CHAIR EXERCISES!!

EMMABE1 has just written a new blog entry as the Chair Exercise Team has just launched a new look to their monthly MAGAZINE plus a Chair Exercise website as well as a Chair Exercise YOUTube channel!!!
