I am so not a morning person....but I have found if I don't exercise in the morning...it does not happen....so I am up at 5 and in the pool by 6 every day. It is a habit now...I would miss it If I did not go.

Generally short walks to the bus stop one at about 7:45 and the other about 2:20 weather permitting. Then sometime after 8:30 go to the gym and use the treadmill.

While I'm doing the 10,000 Swing kettle bell challenge, I have to workout twice--1st thing in the morning and when I get home at night. Usually, I'm a morning person.

If I can get to bed early enough to get 8 hours sleep then morning is what I do. Dr. Oz said that the best time to exercise to burn fat is in the morning before breakfast so you are not burning off the food you ate but pure fat. I have also started exercising in the evening. I am doubling up on my exercise to see if it will kick my body into weight loss again.

I am sooo not a morning person. A trainer who usually worked with me in evenings after work commented after a morning session on a holiday day that I am noticably stronger evenings than mornings. Now that I am retired, I usually head to the gym for the 11 a.m. water aerobics, then spend time on the cardio machines or weight machines. Then I come home and work in the yard.

All different times, although I probably like afternoons best. (That's when it's warm enough to go out, and in the winter, light enough...)

Since I work 2nd shift (3-11 pm), mornings work best for me to exercise. I'm working on making it a habit to get to the Y 2-3 mornings a week.

My big workout for the day has to be in the morning. If I don't do it first thing, my day will inevitably veer me away from another opportunity. Also, it feels so good and keeps me going all day.

Usually it's after work and before dinner. I'm not a morning person, but I like to get to the office by 7 so I can be off by 3:30, so there's just no way I'm getting up early enough to workout before work.
On the weekends, it can be any time between 8 am and 8 pm, just depends on what I'm doing that day.

I usually work in the evenings, so a mid-morning work out is best for me. If I am not working an evening, and I try a late workout, I feel so fatigued and so low in energy. Gotta make the best of my morning energy.

I like mornings, too, after breakfast has had time to digest. Have to work it around food, since I eat fairly frequently.

I really, really, really want to get up early and workout but I have not been able to remember why when the alarm goes off in the morning!
Instead the best time for me seems to be after breakfast. I get the kids going on something and then I can get on the bike. I usually finish up at nap time.

What part of the day do you find works best for you in motivation and energy for getting your activities and fitness in?
For me- I am a morning person, so if I jump into them either right after breakfast or shortly thereafter its my most motivated time of the day. I honestly do NOT enjoy working out in the evenings but will if something has happened to my alloted workout time that day to get them in.
