The "Weider" I use gives number of steps (Miles),Kc and Time. I can see how far I walk ,the time it took and how many calories burned. its good when I remember to take it with me. I don't want to become a slave to it ,other wise there is no joy in doing what I do. Gloria

Here is a very helpful tool for calculating the number of miles or kilometers that you walk, according to the number of steps that you take. Some of you might have a pedometer that does this calculating for your but others might have a pedometer that merely counts your steps.
