I took a page from MTV's I Used to be Fat: I put up a calendar counting down the days til my husband comes home and listing the promised fitness minutes for each day. I figure if my husband can be over there doing what he does for his family and his country, living in the conditions he has to live in etc, I can do my part to get moving, shed these pounds and give him a healthy wife upon his return. I see that calendar first thing each morning and last thing each night. I am HIGHLY MOTIVATED!!!!!!!

Today I wrote out my goals on my SparkPage. I did this as I am not making any progress using my current methods. I know that having it written out will motivate me to take control of myself and my lifestyle.
