Pink (any fast song), Lada Gaga (bad romance, telephone) , Usher (OMG, More), Taio Cruz (Break Your Heart, Dynamite), Black Eyed Peas (Boom Boom Pow, I gotta feeling), JLo (ON the floor) Flo Rida (Club can't handle me) all get me moving. I just listen to the radio and download songs that have a good beat

I played my husband a few of the songs I like to listen to (fast, driving beat that really thumps) and he loaded up my mp3 player with some more. Haven't finished his list but I'll edit it as I go along. :) A couple examples are: (don't care about the songs, but the beat makes me want to MOVE!)

Womanizer
Back in Black
Permanent Vacation
Firework
That's Not My Name

I found a great CD on iTunes for $11.99. I know that's pricey, but I tried running to it today and it was fail proof. Just what I needed to stop me from being bored. It is the Top 40 Remix workout CD. Here is a link:

I'm with SMITIM. Although I do have a contemporary list as well with songs like Don'tcha and other popular songs there are many of the 80's tunes that just get me moving and groving whenever I play them. I admit there are also some disco songs that do the same.

One of my all time favorites is still New Attitude. I just CAN'T sit still for that one.

Sounds like its time to update and switch up your playlist. My husband is on one of those download news groups so I get a lot of my music from what he's got stored. I have made sure my tunes choices are all fast beat music to keep me motivated to move.

It is perhaps a bit embarrassing to mention, but I am a fan of 80's music. I listen to this whenever I want to get that "I can go on forever and enjoy it" feeling.

ALWAYSCHANGING, Wow! This is a great list of music. THANK YOU so much for putting the time to post it here. I only have a few of these songs, but I like your taste. I'm sure they'll help me stop the skipping while running. I will try to get the rest of the songs and then I'll be running to your tunes instead of skipping to mine. hahaha

I have several playlists depending on my pace and goal in mind, they all are the same in as far as what I want them to do for me meaning, they do a gradual build..from moderate (for my warm-up) to goal paced music (for majority of run) to my cool down. Now my musical taste may not be the same as yours but I will share my favorite playlist with you (the one I consider my go-to):
WARM UP
Moment 4 Life: Nicki Minaj
The Show goes on : Lupe Fiasco
I'm the Best: Nicki Minaj
Living Better Now: Jamie Foxx ft Rick Ross
RUN
We R Who We R: Ke$ha
More: Usher
I Need a Doctor : Dr. Dre ft. Eminem
Like aG6: Far East Movement
Gimme That: Ciara
You Be Kille' Em: Fabolous
Raining Men: Rihanna
Won't Back Down: Eminem
She Don't Know: Usher
Fresh Azimiz: Bow Wow
Raise Your Glass: P!nk
Thank Me Now: Drake
One in a Million: Ne-Yo
COOL DOWN
Cooler Than Me: Mike Posner
Coming Home: Diddy
Bahm Bahm: Keri Hilson
Low: Flo Rida
Hope this helps a bit.

I find myself skipping more often than listening to my music when I run. And when I find a song that really makes me want to keep on running I repeat it over and over and over. This is frustrating. Any suggestions on GREAT songs to keep the energy going will be much appreciated.
