The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It's as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. Nolan Bushnell

I'm setting my goal slightly higher than December's. My goal for December was 120,000 steps & I went over by quite a bit. I would like to be able to do 150,000 for January. Now, if the weather will just cooperate :-)
Total monthly steps: 476,542 Total monthly miles: 257.01
Did you reach your goal and if so how did you fit your steps in creatively? Heck, some nights I marched in place just to see the number go up since I realized I wasn't moving around so much with all the cold we've gotten and the crappy outside weather.

There are those of us out there who use their pedometers faithfully and know how motivational they can be to get us up off our butts and moving.
The winter time can be one of the hardest times for a bunch of us trying to get their step counts up due to the cold, snow, ice, and even health issues like that nasty flu which grounded me last month.
This topic is for steppers who want to focus on getting their step count up as their monthly challenge.
Set yourself a daily, weekly, or monthly goal and just put one foot in front of the other. When in a pinch due to the weather walk around the inside of your home or in place during commercials or making dinner. Park further away in parking lots to get the extra steps in.
Copy and paste this section below to do your monthly record of steps. Just post once and come in and edit it with updated steps.
