emoticon Okay, I finally remember we are now into February I need to create a new post but I needed to add my figures up first.

YES- I somehow got to my goal this month and did 476,542 steps

Yes, some days I looked at my pedometer saw I needed more steps and actually marched in place while watching TV with my son, or I did laps around the rooms of my house.

BEAN is right, if you have a pedometer it should come with instructions on how to set you pace and it helps it calculate how many steps are in your stride to make up a mile.

What pedometer brand are you using- Becky1?

Depends on the size of your steps. For me it is around 3,000. If you have a pedomoter, you should be able to set it up by measuring your steps so it will calculate it for you. I hope this helps.

Hi Team,

There are those of us out there who use their pedometers faithfully and know how motivational they can be to get us up off our butts and moving.

The winter time can be one of the hardest times for a bunch of us trying to get their step counts up due to the cold, snow, ice, and even health issues like that nasty flu which grounded me last month.

This topic is for steppers who want to focus on getting their step count up as their monthly challenge.

Set yourself a daily, weekly, or monthly goal and just put one foot in front of the other. When in a pinch due to the weather walk around the inside of your home or in place during commercials or making dinner. Park further away in parking lots to get the extra steps in.

Copy and paste this section below to do your monthly record of steps. Just post once and come in and edit it with updated steps.
