Who should only watch TV an hour a day?? I object to that one. I think you'd be an ignorant citizen if you did that & didn't read newspapers & magazines.

I'm not too sure about the water either. I drink enough to avoid constipation, but have read things saying the 8 glasses daily is an old wives tale.

Emily spoke to the eating in front of the TV. If you live alone, eating with tv is the sensible thing. If you eat so mindlessly, just put correct quantity of food on your plate.

Tracking your food is the most important thing. Posting is also a good thing.

Can I still be a turtle?

I,4, and 5

I eat 95% of my meals in front of the computer or TV. I live alone and it's boring to sit at an otherwise empty table. Not changing this. And I watch TV more than an hour each day. It's not excessive, but again, living alone-----

I will drink my water and post.

I have been working on #2 for a couple of weeks now. There are some evenings where I sit alone at the table while my family watches TV instead. Oh well. I am doing this for myself and there are days when I don't really mind. Gives me a chance to relax and unwind in quiet.

This year is all about me and my quest to unload this extra person I have been hauling around.

I'll do #3. I'm a news junkie, so watch a lot of TV, and often stop what else I'm doing to watch TV while I eat. Also, in the evening, I do my needlework while I "watch" news & Charlie Rose etc.

After a month with no loss, I'm down 3 to the lowest so far. hip, hip hooray
