I have been totally slacking off on water lately, thanks for the reminder!
For breakfast I have been loving the Special K Flatbread breakfast sandwiches. 240 calories and 14 g protein. I don't even think about lunch until... Lunch time!
I saw some "eeew kale" messages. Kale is tough. It doesn't really taste good, and it's dry and stringy and hard to chew. But it is so so good for you! Here are my suggestions
Try toasting it on a cookie sheet with some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder, into "Kale chips" (which are not actually good by the way, no matter what people say, so I don't advise eating them like this) Then crush the "chips" into soup, salad, tuna, omelets, anything! You can buy kale chips at the supermarket but store bought brands will have loads of sodium.
Kale is great the crockpot too, because it doesn't get squishy. I use scissors to cut it into small pieces and then I put it in soup, stews, crock pot chicken dishes. (Like Tikka Masala!)
I also like to throw it into omelets and scrambled eggs (cut it really small otherwise It will be stringy)
AND there is very little moisture in it, so it doesn't rot quickly like spinach does. it lasts a long time, so I almost never have to throw any away.
