My goals for 2013 are:

1. Lose the 10 pounds I gained by end of March
2. Exercise 5 days a week
3. Eat 6 small meals a day
4. Lots of water and green tea

Changed up my 2013 goals.
They are:
1) Work out 3 times a week at the fitness center.
2) Build up my upper body strength.
3) Work towards gaining more energy.
4) Try to lose 5 lbs a month and keep it off.

I am in the mental health field I had a very intense job that was causing me much stress so I had to quiit. I interview for a counseling position at McLeans Hospital in Belmont MA. The interview went well. But I am not putting all my eggs in 1 basket. I have an interview next week to work a crisis phone line for persons that just need to talk and get things out in the air. I would rather have the phone job because I know all the staff at that location Thanks for your interest. Lisa

I set new goals for the new year I try to stay away from resolutions because I forget about them soon after making them. Last year I set 3 goals and remembered them throughout the year achieved all 3 goals. This year my goals are to live a healthy lifestyle and get a job. My food goals have improved 50%, exercise 75% and I had a job interview today and 1 set up for nest week. I am slowly making healthy changes and I know I can achieve 1 lb a week totalling 50 lbs. for the year! emoticon

I just asked the calculator thingie to tell me when I'd be at my goal weight if I lose one pound a week: not until November!!!
Still, I'm embarked on a two-year plan, so that'll give another year and a half to be fabulous by my 60th birthday. So ... So Be It!

* Reach goal weight (135-140)
* Run 3X or more a week / Cross train at least once a week
* Complete 1/2 marathon (under 2010 time)

My 2013 goals:
Have proper sleep schedule
- Do 10-min workout in the morning
- Get daily 7500 steps
- In control with my food
- 1 kg loss by end of each quarter
- Complete 1 Yellow Pages in two months (study for career progression)

My number one goal is to stick to my calorie range. This requires tracking and some reasonable amount of weighing/measuring food. My current longest streak for sticking to the range is 7 days. My goal is to extend that streak, but I plan to do much, much better than that!! I'm hoping to reestablish a goal weight range of 124-129 rather than the 128-133 of 2012.

I plan to continue running both on my own and with my Galloway group. I hope to achieve at least one PR in 2013.

I'll give it some thought and probably establish a strength training goal and a commitment to continue the good health habits I already have established.

I feel like I've made a good start since joining in mid-September, and have no doubts about being able to finally achieve my weight loss goal!

In 2013 I want to finally lose that extra 20-25 lbs. and that will be accomplished by eating a little less. My exercise program is good and I am pleased with it.

My goals for 2013

1) Lose at least 50 pounds
2) Increase stamina with exercise bike and walking
3) Be able to go up stairs without hurting or getting winded
4) Continue to track my food and exercise each day
5) Hopefully be able to get off of some medicines (mainly the ones that give me hot flashes and the ones that make my mouth so dry) emoticon

2013 goals ... already... roughly sketched, will be working to define more clearly...

1) lose 50 pounds.
2) exercise 6 days a week: 3 days with strength training, 6 days in the water with aerobics and lap swimming, and start walking- working up to 4 miles 2 times a week.
3) stay on my whole food eating with better portion control and more veggies.
4) stay more social and involved with my friends and family.

Get down to 25% body fat, now that I've reached my weight goal.
Complete a 10k that I'm scheduled to run in February in less than an hour.
Complete a half marathon that I'm scheduled to run in March in 2.5 hours or less.
Be able to do full burpees
Be able to do a full set of unassisted pull-ups by the end of the year.

Lose 20 pounds and get down to my goal of 140. The steps I will take to get there are as follows:
1. Get back to running (maybe even a marathon by this time next year)
2. Walk daily with my kids
3. Increase my fruit / vegetable intake
