I'm just getting back on the horse so to speak. Started tracking my food. Thought I did so good yesterday and calories were at 2100. But at least I'm no longer in denial. Another goal is to make myself accountable everyday on SP. That's all to be going on with.

1. eat less sugar
2. Finish my spaceship before fall festival
3. Do my best with what I have and avoid spending more money (unless its gas or groceries). The only exception should be more paint for the ship if needed, and even then, be cautious.
4. Create a savings plan that I can work with and pay my credit card bill quicker (and also my tuition)
5. Avoid eating out the entire month of October (unless its something like a school event or a date--don't buy it yourself)

Stay focused and don't let the outside world affect how I am doing at this point. I have been doing so well, but the stress of the season scares me. Its not just the holidays, but my boys are Boy Scouts and we're gearing up for crazy fundraising to send the troop to Camp Cherry Valley which is on Catalina Island. They both have started their Eagle Projects also, which adds more pressure.

Let's see. My main goal for October is to remain sane while we pack and clean and paint to prepare for our move to Florida at the end of the month. If I can lose a couple of pounds in the process, that would be nice, also.

Goal for October
I have just learned that 1. the best day to grocery shop is Wednesday(I usually shop Monday)
2. the best day to buy gasoline is Wednesday
I am going to change my shopping day to Wed which will be difficult transition because it will give me a better selection of freshest produce and baked goods.
Buying gasoline on WEd, will be no biggie because I do not drive much, I walk

October goals.
1) continue to get 8 hours of sleep a night.
2) add a few new elements to my strength training
3) maintain at least 45 to 60 minutes of exercise a day (6 days a week)
4) plan my menu and my food shopping wisely.
5) keep myself on an emotionally even playing field.
6) stay in contact with the groups I am a part of.
7) track everything on SP as I should.

Major goal is;

To try and eat healthy as we are going to be traveling for most of the month. Lunch is the most difficult. We do try to stop and eat in our camper but it is easy to pick up foods or go to a restaurant Once we get to our winter home, it will be a lot easier.

My goals for October:

ST every day - work one body part a day - at least 90 reps total - i.e. today is lower body so at least 30 reps each of 3 different exercises (30 squats, 30 calf rocking, 30 bridges) followed by 5 minutes of stretching. Tomorrow will be core and Monday will be upper body.

Cardio - at least 60 minutes 6 days a week

Nutrition - continue to increase the fresh vegetables and fruit in my meals while eating less animal products and processed foods.

Some of us use scales. Others keep track of inches or centimeters. Still others set goals for exercise. For this challenge you set your own goal (s) for OCTOBER and then let us know how you're doing. Check in at the end of the month or more frequently if you wish. Do not make a goal that is too BIG or FAST! Be realistic.
