In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose "If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." -General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian
I usually get up after an hour and a half/two hours when i'm working on the computer. I get restless. And I usually go to the fridge and open the door ;) Walk into the pantry and scan the shelves :D Yeah I'm going to try to get up every hour too and try to do something active. Right now I'm cooking a new recipe (again FOOD related distraction) so I'm getting up every twenty minutes but it's nutritious :)
I sit too much. Gotta get movin. I will ride my exercise bike for at least 15 minutes before I get on the computer. No bike, no computer...... Also I will try and walk around while watching TV or at least stand up. Promise
I like the one about not sitting for longer than an hour too. I get immersed in projects and Sparking and look up and 2 hours have whizzed by with out any movement. I'm going to insert exercises every 15 to 30 minutes into my sitting hobbies.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. Mary Anne Radmacher
