Not doing so well towards my September goal. had a really bad week. A lot of little things, like cat being diagnosed diabetic, facialist burned my face while waxing hairs, birthday with nobody to celebrate with, Medicare turning down my appeal to reduce my cost because my 2010 tax return shows I made a lot of money (I've been retired since before I turned 65).

My September goals are oldies, but goodies:

- Do at least 10 minutes of exercise every day
- Track my food every day
- Drink 8 cups of water every day

The basics, really!

Listen, are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?

My goals for September are:
1-Maintain consistency with workouts - don't allow life to deter me from workouts - keep my schedule
2-Continue improving water intake on weekends - carry water bottle w/me on outings
3-Monitor sugar intake in foods to avoid weight gain
These are my goals for this month as I am working on my dissertation - I have to maintain consistency w/my workouts as my workouts help w/stress levels!!

My goals are:

1) Get to 155 or below (currently at 158.4) before we leave on vacation to Japan.
2) NO MORE CHEATING! I've been having something naughty like once a week, not good! I can have a cheat meal when I get to the weight I want!
3) Exercise 45 min+ for 4-5 days a week. This does not include sitting on the stationary bike reading a book and not sweating.
4) Track my food regardless of what I ate. I know what I ate, I'm just scared to hold myself accountable and put it online.

My goals for September are:

1. To lose 4 - 5 lbs. I'll do this by planning my meals and snacks and TRACKING on SP (something I've been neglecting!)

2. To exercise for at least 90 minutes per week. I'd like to do more, of course, but I've really slacked off over the summer and just need to get back into the habit.

3. To practice taking my needs into consideration. I'm always last on my list of priorities, and that needs to change.

Goal is to not gain any weight back. We are on the road 3 out of 4 weeks but I seem to get along fairly well. Still never hurts to set this goal.

Hello,
My goals for September are to walk more often, do more calisthenics at home and get better at keeping the calories down. I need to work on feeling good so I don't comfort eat at night. That seems to be a problem for me. My ultimate goal is to be back to my normal weight by christmas. We'll see...

I would just love to be able to put that "40 lbs. lost" thingie up on my SparkPage!! It's not a huge goal for most people, but apparently it is for me, since I've been so close to getting it for months now! emoticon

Seriously though, I would like to tone my arms up a little. I think I'm going to have to go back to my Wii Boxing! I can't afford lipo!! emoticon

FIND A NEW AND EFFECTIVE exercise pattern to replace my daily swim, now the pool is closed until next June. I tried walking today, did 20 extra minutes, but the fitness monitor gave me less than half the calories my much more refreshing swim would've earned. Will try elliptical tomorrow.

Lose 4 pounds by September 30th.
1. I have been released by my doctor to return to Curves. That will help a lot.
2. prepare myself for another medical procedure (day surgery) which is NOT cancer related, but
female related. It will eliminate a great deal of my pain. I only have to take off about 3 work
days instead of 6 weeks~!. Awesome.
3. Organize my paperwork for work (I am a preschool child care teacher). Looking forward to a new school year.

What a great set of goals SUZYMARC! I love that you have opened up your goals to all facets of healthy living.
My goals to concentrate on in September are to
1~Work on declutter in all areas of my life. I need to come up with the sub-goals for this goal. Any ideas?
2~ Do physical therapy exercises 5 days a week and twice a day on three of those days.
My husband was on vacation this week and I neglected doing this consistently.
4~ Cook 4 days a week organize so I get it in. I have a challenge with fatigue which gets in the way.

My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today.

My goals for September:
Well since I've been thinking its truly time to face reality that the old habits have crept back in and that would explain the weight gain and the clothes feeling tight. So I will be resetting my SP weight loss goal.
1. track more in foods & exercise. If not daily at least every other day while its still fresh in my mind.
2. keep to drinking the 8 glasses of water or more
3. exercise at least 3 - 4 times a week, hopefully starting my mornings with the yoga dvds
4. getting to bed within the 9 - 10 pm range unless I end up having to work an evening shift then at least before 11 pm.
5. manage stress and deal with any possible more medical tests & appointments with a positive mindset, use exercise to control emotions, don't block people out.
#6: the most important: BE THANKFUL FOR EACH & EVERY DAY. Even a crappy one is still to be considered a gift and knowing I have the strength to rise above.

My goal will be to bend my left knee to at least 90 degrees. I can now only bend it 84 degrees. I joined a Wellness Center and will try to do Swimming Exercise class at least twice a week. These classes seem to help my knee bend.

Some of us use scales. Others keep track of inches or centimeters. Still others set goals for exercise. For this challenge you set your own goal (s) for SEPTEMBER and then let us know how you're doing. Check in at the end of the month or more frequently if you wish. Do not make a goal that is too BIG or FAST! Be realistic.

What are your goals for the month of SEPTEMBER?
