Hi there, my goals for august were to try to wrestle control of my lifestyle again and maybe lose a few pounds too. Now that september is upon me and I know what this is about, i'm going to set some more specific goals. I've lost 15 lbs woo hoo!

1. come up with organizational goals for school work and gamers guild work 2. try to curb my over-talkativeness 3. 30+ minutes of exercise each day (aim for 60 when at the gym) 4. make more realistic study schedule this semester (once i get my syllabus and whatnot) 5. have the office much cleaner than now before the semester starts

My goal for August is to get through week 3 of the couch to 5K program and start week 4 in September. I'm being realistic knowing that I probably won't complete the program in the amount of time I'm supposed to as I've already had to repeat a week. It's getting easier every time but running at my size is definitely not something I ever thought I could do.

I've been lax lately... well, for most of the summer so far.
But!!! I'm going to Phoenix in September to see my sweetie, and he walks up and down a mountain, about six miles round trip. I can't do the whole six miles, but I'm going to build myself up to it.
So, for August, I'm going to walk every day, alternating between my short walks and my long ones; I'm going to eat my fruits every day; drink my water; and eat within my calorie range.
In short, I'm starting from scratch, but loving it.!
I weigh in every Sunday. My goal is to lose some weight each week, even if only a small amount of weight. I want to be consistent at weight loss. So far I have lost some weight three weeks in a row. Now for August!

Some of us use scales. Others keep track of inches or centimeters. Still others set goals for exercise. For this challenge you set your own goal (s) for AUGUST and then let us know how you're doing. Check in at the end of the month or more frequently if you wish. Do not make a goal that is too BIG or FAST! Be realistic.
