In May I set a goal of 1000 min and exceeded it. Set 2000 min for June (to motivate myself) and pretty much stopped exercising. Will go back to 1500 min. I know I can churn that out. Eek!

The pounds are sliding off...

Regroup- May was so disappointing. I added 1 hour of cardio (4 times a week) to my daily walk, stayed withing all the daily nutritional requirements (except for Memorial Day...500 calories over the limit- ouch!), drank those lousy 8 glasses of water everyday and lost a whopping 1 pound. The only reason I can come up with is the stress of trying to find time for the cardio workouts. Most days I was actually frantic trying to get it in. I am going to go back to the walking and tracking and see if it helps my progress...just relax...will not give up!

For June, my goals are:

- To do 10 minutes of movement every single day.
- To get back in the habit of tracking my food.
- To drink my water daily.
- To weigh in weekly.

Basically, I'm starting over after a bad weigh-in scared the living daylights out of me! Here's to June!

Goals for this month are to cut my diet soda intake to just one a day, to stay within my calorie range, to add in an extra 15 to 20 minute walk in the evenings, and to lose 4 lbs.

to keep up the healthy habits I started in May. To lose 5-6 pounds. Yesterday my Husband and I added Power 90 (boot camp to start with) to our daily activities. My goal is to do this every day without fail!! Next weekend I am taking part in my 1st walk for the Kidney Foundation. I am just looking for more and more opportunities to get healthy!

Lots of stuff to get done this month, I just want to live thru it all. Doing the roof and redoing the bathroom. Will try at least to maintain but might lose 3 or 4 lbs. from all that exercise.

Exercise 5 days a week. Cardio 5 days Strength 4 days. Eating well is easy for me, it is the exercise part that is my downfall. I did well in the summer challenge, but want to keep up the momentum.

I'll be happy to maintain. For sure I will keep up the 8 cups of water and at least 2 hrs. of exercise a day. We are putting on a new roof and redoing the bathroom this month and it will take all my energy to do that. But I still have to walk the dog and keep the house up. It will be a tough month.

I would like to force myself emoticon to do some core strenghtening exercises and some upper arm and tummy toning workouts! I'm losing weight, but I'm old, so the triceps are what I call my "grandma arms." (Which my grandma had when I was little, and I swore I would never have! Ha!)

I'd like to learn more about what things to eat - not necessarily how much. I know that I am eating things that aren't good for me, but I keep doing it. And I'm not totally sure what they are: sugar, carbs, coffee, etc. I'd like to also find out what nutrients and minerals I need and perhaps start a supplement. It will be a month of research. Oh, and losing a pound or two would be nice also. Haha.

My goal is to Exercise as I can. I'm still in a wheelchair until my knee replacement surgery June 19th. Then I'll be up walking the next day! I'll have to dust off my PEDOMETER!

Check in at the end of the month or more frequently if you wish. Do not make a goal that is too BIG or FAST! Be realistic.
