For those who have never done a Blog entry before, go to your SparkPage. On the top of the page, there is am area to click that says, "blogs". When you get to that page, click on "Add a Blog Entry". Then you will have a blank sheet that also has a place for a title of the blog. Decide on a title and then write. Even if you only write a few lines for your first blog, that is fine. It does not have to be long. In fact, I don't like to read blogs that are too long, don't have time!
Now about subjects: You can write about why you joined SparkPeople, how you are progressing, what article on SP you read that might have encouraged you, etc. For the challenge, write something encouraging, don't be too negative. We want to encourage others, and at the same time encourage ourselves.
A hint on the title of a blog. If you write a catchy title, people will come to your blog to read it. I will say that if people entitle their blog entries: "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", etc, I do not go to read their blogs. I do not have time to read of daily activities in detail and the title of these blogs seem to be about what happened on a certain day. Perhaps the blog is really good and encouraging to others but I will not know that by it's title.
By the way, we get 3 points a day for blogging!
We also get points for commenting on people's blogs, up to two blogs a day, one point each!
