I'll update my weight and measurements on Saturday.... then probably also January 7th, my Sparkversary. My year usually starts then but I am NOW doing damage control from this past week when my weight DID go out of control!

I tried really hard to not over eat during the Holidays and so far so good. Today I was down 1-1/2 lbs since last week (I believe this is because I am now on Thyroid medication). I'm still counting calories and will try to work out more in 2012.

Oh, I 'm so excited that you are all joining me on this, but I have to come clean... I woke up late today and was in such a rush to get everything done that I needed to do, that it totally slipped my mind to do my measurements and weight before I ate breakfast and lunch. I like to weigh myself right when I wake up. So I've put posted notes all over the bathroom and closet and hopefully I'll remember tomorrow morning. I'm a total dork!

I have over done it with foods and undone with my workouts since thanksgiving but I'm hoping this week is to get me back on track the only good thing I have stayed within my goal range didn't go over thankfully I have a 5 pounds play area

I've never kept track of my measurements really, but I've updated my weight. I've been hovering at the same weight for a few months, just short of my goal. I would like to try to reach goal this year, which means added ftness and exercise - unless the development of more muscle increases my weight. So I guess my goal will be to just become more active.

Hey! It's good to hear from you Ellie. I too need to stop going around the same mountain over and over. I need to count calories and exercise regularly. It doesn't seem so hard when I write it down,so why do I make it into an insurmountable mountain in my head?

I didn't eat too much food over the holiday's but enough of the wrong foods to put my body in a tail-spin.
I have decided not to wait til 01/01/12 to complete my transition to veg. Two days of severe intestinal... Don't want to go into too much detail. My siblings have lots of holiday get together's over the span from Thanksgiving thru New Years and I am the only veg in either DH's or my families. No more meat or foods sabotaged by people who think that if I don't know what is in a dish it will be okay. I am going to have to be firm from now on.
Other than that, DH and I had a really nice quiet Christmas this year - just the 2 of us.

My improvements for 2012..... Stop going around the same mountain that i have been going around for years.... To get a different result I have to change what i am doing....can't keep doing the same things expecting a different result.....
Need to stick to my program each day and also get back to my walking again..... Haven't walked at all very much since I did the half marathon in September so need to get back to it if I am going to do the 15k challenge again in February,.....
Thats my starting point for 2012......
