Read a few of the posts and see most everyone is going strong. I guess the Holidays aren't particularly daunting this year, at least not yet anyway. Sticking to my nutrition limits, exercising every day and generally pleased with the program. I am sure there are challenges and temptations ahead but for today I am feeling peaceful.

You’ll get where you want to go as long as you are taking more steps in the right direction than the wrong one.

Good for you Emilyulm1! I love it when we go on vacation and come home less then when we went!

My mind set is, it is just another month with a few more gatherings. I am getting good at eating healthy all day until I go to an event. Then watching how much I take at an event. If I want a lot of different things I will take just a bite or two of things. This has been working for me lately. So I am going to keep doing all month. I am also tracking again and that helps.

I would have to say other. I spent two weeks in Peru and did not track food or exercise. I ate a lot of very salty food every day, but no real junk food. I swam. I figured I would be up many pounds. When I got home I was less than before I left. So now I am in "winging it" mode. I figure that I did okay not charting in Peru. The difference is that now I am back to north america, I am eating a lot more junk. I need to buckle down and get serious again.

I'm still going strong. It is a little harder to stay motivated this month due to bad weather and all of the Christmas activities. But if I have a small "slip", I brush myself off and keep going toward my goals. emoticon

I have a mixture of two. Yes, I'm still going strong. But I'm other as well. I'm still working hard, but being on bed rest and not being able to exercise has really put a damper on my mood.

I haven't been doing well at all for the last few months and I had practically given up.
I wanted to restart Jan. 1st but I realised that why wait?
What will be different following my plan next year at Christmas then this year?
So I started again Monday. I'm writing down all my food and it's going really well.
So right now my mindset is going strong!
Yeah for me! emoticon

The link wouldn't work for me but my vote would also be I'm still going strong. I managed not to gain (in fact lost a bit) during last years holiday season and I'm planning to do the same this year. Right now my weight is up 6/10ths of a pound but I'm planning to lose that!!
