Well, all I wanted to do was lose a lb. Actually, with Thanksgiving (though I really don't think I ate much more than usual) I gained a lb. That was very depressing. But, by the end of the month, I had lost that. So, I essentially STAYED THE SAME.

As always for me, with a new month comes new motivation to DO BETTER. We'll see!! emoticon

November results: I did not lose the two pounds I had planned but stayed the same which is good under the circumstances because I did go hog wild with an emphasis on "hog." The good news is that tomorrow is December 1 and I can set another goal for the new month.

An update..... 165.4 pounds this morning! I will post again on Wednesday at the end of the month. But I am excited about the 4.6 pound drop as of today -- althought it might be a fluke as sometimes that happens! :)

Report: I gained 2 1/2 pounds during November. I'll be on a trip as of the 30th so I'll consider this the end of this challenge for me. I must do better in December!

Oh, I am really late joining this challenge but I am doing it anyway. This is the first challenge I have done.

My long term goal is to weigh 150 by 3/31/12. That means 17.5 pounds in 4 months, a little over 4 pounds a month. I don't know how realistic that is considering that I hit a plateau about 6 weeks ago. emoticon That or muscle really does weigh more than fat. I have dropped from a size 16 to a 12. Maybe my goal should be a size 10 by the end of March. emoticon

Some of your goals sound very ambitious, losing 5 to 7lb. or more for the month. I applaud your journey and wish you luck.

Unfortunately, I know I can't do that. So, I am just hoping to lose 1 lb. and KEEP IT OFF. I keep waffling. I lose it and then gain it back. If I could just keep that 1lb off by the end of Nov., that would suit me just fine. Of course, if more than 1lb. wishes to leave my body, that is fine too!!! emoticon

My goal is to get under 160 and stay there. I have been rocking back and forth from the 160s to the 159s for nearly 2 weeks. My long term goal I am currently working on is to reach 155 by the end of this year. So I want to break this set point and press down under the 160's heading steadily toward 155.
