I gave my buddy a new pair of work out shoes. Gosh she belongs to the Couch to 5k group, Pedometer Challenge and the 28 day bootcamp workout challenge, she has to be wearing out shoes!

I just gave my buddy a pair of walking shoes. She belongs to a team called 5K you way walking program. I walked my first 5K last year and it felt great! So go BONBON561, go!!

I gave my buddy Shelia a yoga mat. She walks nearly every day with her dog or camera, but added that she likes to stretch and do yoga, so I thought the mat will encourage her to do the stretching and yoga!!! emoticon

I'm giving my buddy - ChunkyKate resistance bands because I have recently found some work out videos on the Fitness tab at SparksPeople that you can actually do sitting down! Amazing how working out while sitting in a chair can make you sweat! Give them a try - they are cheap, easy to store and easy to use.

I also think we are on the same level of fitness - meaning we could both use a little strength training!

Even when you take two steps forward and one step back you are still ahead.

Believe in yourself.

I saw on LynMienders' Spark Page that she walks, but she has already been given pedometers. But I saw a recent post in one of the discusions that she is trying to get her husband to make her some garden space. Therefore, I gave her a seeding goodie - it would be good exercise tending a garden, with tilling the soil and bending down to weed the garden, picking the produce, etc.

I gave my buddy Kayelene a Hula Hoop. She's on the Zumba team, which sounds like alot of fun and a Hula Hoop is alot of fun--keep it shakin' Kayelene!! emoticon

My Buddy KAITLANDSDREAM does "spinning and abs" according to her fitness tracker. And she works with weights. I gave her a Kettleballs Goodie. I have never seen Kettleballs but they sure look like weights to me!!

I just gave my buddy beej a pair of running shoes. She runs three times a week at a mile in 11min.! Not being a runner it sounds fast to me.

I gave Cris the Fitness Magazine goodie since it made me think of all the numerous articles on SP available to read. They have helped me so much, and I want that for her. Her blog talks about walking while she was in Paris, so I'm thinking that she might like to add a bit of walking as her exercise. She is a member of Weight Watchers and I think she is focusing on diet and calories right now. This is similar to where I am in changing my lifestyle.

Day 2 - I gave my buddy DMaurice1 the workout shoes goodie. DMaurice1 is in the Treadmill ,Elliptical , Runners, Walkers & Etc team and has completed the 10k Virtual walk, that is why I chose the workout shoes emoticon
