I don't add salt to my food and our salt shaker is only full for guests.
My mother was put on a low salt diet when I was 14, and it's been easy to eliminate it since I got used to that then.

I don't use salt, I use Spike...it does have a little sodium it, but not much.

I normally don't use salt from the table its the salt that is added to foods to prepare it and today w mom surgery I'll be eating out and my sodium intake will be high so not up for the challenge

i CAN do it, partially because there is no salt shaker on the table, tee hee. I've never added salt. Oh, wait just a minute, yes I have, to French fries but only if in a restaurant. My Dad used to salt almost everything. I once ate in a restaurant with a guy I knew who would REMOVE THE TOP from the shaker and literally pour it on his food. I wonder how Shawn is doing lately? One last note...my wife is really limiting her salt intake so sometimes it affects the food she prepares for me too, but I still don't add any salt, it really doesn't do much for me I guess! Thanks for the topic and challenge!

no shaker on my table, either, and seldom used on my stove. My fall down is using canned goods as short cuts in recipes - using canned broths, soups, beans, etc. Even when I buy sodium reduced varieties, my daily sodium count still goes thru the roof. I can't seem to find a way around this problem.Time shortages keep me using canned helpers.

No problem. We haven't used salt at the table for many years. I use Mrs. Dash in cooking.

Done! I don't normally add salt anyway :) Only special occasions - like corn on the cob. I prefer to rely on other spices. Right now I'm in love with paprika. And we always use a tonne of garlic. Yum!

ODC = One Day Challenge!

Thursday's ODC is to take the Salt Shaker off of the table. Do not add any extra salt to your food once it is fixed. No salt shaker at the table!

Can you do it? Limit your salt intake on Thursday.
