1. Lose Pounds or Inches in these next three weeks. You make your own goal and let us know how many pounds you would like to lose or how many inches you would like to lose from now until March 20th.
I would like to lose 3 lbs but I'm going to be realistic and say 1.5 lbs.!
3/5 got on the scales and no weight loss
3/12 no weight loss

Well, as of today (3/20) I dropped 2 lbs!!! So I made my goal and went over!!! I am so thrilled because I haven't seen any loss for over 3 wks!!!!


2. Regularly HUDDLE on the Slowest Loser's team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge.
I have huddled almost every day
3. Give Springy type SparkGodies (flowers for example), to at least one member, at least three days a week.

I have done this almost every day also.

My first goal was to get down 20 total lbs which I did... Yay! then I had a week to go yet in the challenge so I made a new goal to be down 21 by today... this I didnt make :( But I am more then happy to accept my down 20!!

Evaluation Time!

I huddled daily. Made it to 222.4. One tenth of a pound from goal and overall on a downward trend so I am pleased!!!

I'm in for one and two. I'd like to lose two pounds and I will huddle daily! Weighed myself today 224.3. I'd like to make it to 222.3 without losing the same pounds multiple times!!!

I have huddled daily and despite feeling like I am getting nowhere weight wise I am currently at 222.4 on a tenth of a pound from my challenge goal!

I'm evaluating my participation in this challenge today:

1. Lose Pounds or Inches: Feb 21... one week before this challenge started I weighed 248 pounds. Then I lost weight done to 245.2 pounds that week, just before this challenge started. I gained it all back but today I weigh 245.8 pounds. I consider myself to have lost 2.2 pounds in the last month so I am happy.

2. I HUDDLED on this team every day of the challenge.

3. I gave a lot of Spring Flowers as goodies, not perhaps often enough during my nine day trip but I've given out quite a few.

4. My SparkPage has been decorated but I have also started looking over everyone's pages who joined the 4th mini challenge to decorate up for Spring. Either today or tomorrow I will let you know which Five Members of the challenge had my favorite Spring pages!

How did everyone else do? The challenge ends tomorrow. Sunday.

Just want to give out a big emoticon to everyone that participated in the Spring Challenge. I think it was a great way to forget about the cold weather, look forward to the coming of Spring and a motivation to work even harder toward our weight loss and fitness goals. All the SparkPages turned out great and I've really enjoyed looking at them.

With one day to go:

1. Lose pounds or inches in these next three weeks: My goal is to lose 3 lbs. in the next three weeks. (If I keep it together today, I lost 4 pounds as of 3/19. Update on 3/20, I kept it together by not going out and eating a whole cake or jumbo bag of peanut M & M's so I've lost 4-1/2 lbs. total.)

2. Regularly huddle on the Slowest Loser's team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge. (Huddled everyday)

3. Give Springy type SparkGoodies to at least one member, at least three days a week. (Gave out at least one SparkGoodie each day)

4. Decorate my SparkPage for Spring. (Done)

I chose to do all four challenges, and I think I've done pretty good.
1. Pounds or inches lost - I have decided to weigh and measure once a month, so I won't know for sure until the end of the month, but I am confident I have lost.
2. Except for when I was away, I huddled every day.
3. I love giving out goodies, and did many more than 3 times a week.
4. After St Paddy's Day, I decorated my page for Spring.
I'm looking forward to the next challenge. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I am so annoyed...how did I go from 211 on Mon.....to 213 today? I've been staying in my calorie range and exercising everyday with out fail...I'm really discouraged. Sorry I needed to vent.

I have continued to huddle with the team almost every day....a new habit for me.

I have sent spring themed Goodies to SLT members almost every day and have started also sending a goodie or remark to friends who are not SLT members.....something that I have done only sporadically before.

I have tweaked my SparkPage some b/c I could not get the photo of my yard to fit right as a background. I now have that photo as one of my pictures on my page. I also added a MardiGras pic of my daughter & son in law since it was a spring like event this year.

My weight goal will probably not be met as I have actually gained these past 2 wks. But I will not give up!

Winter will be officially over when Spring starts on March 20. This challenge through March 20th!

1. Lose Pounds or Inches in these next three weeks. I wanted to lose 2 pounds. I started at 245.2 pounds....having just lost several pounds. Well, I am now at 247.4 pounds so I'm up 2.2 pounds. I still have a few days to see if I can get down to a zero gain!

This continues to be a fun challenge. I am huddling with the team almost daily. And I am giving Sparkles to SLT team members and even to friends not on the team. In the past, I have been very sporadic about tending to friends. This challenge is helping me develop a good habit.

The background for my SparkPage is still a photo of azaleas and a live oak tree in our yard.

I am only doing fair on the wt loss but I'm keeping at it.

My first goal was:

"Joining alittle late but I hope to loose 3 lbs between today and the 20th. Today I am down 16.6 lbs. Would love to see 19.6 on the 20th!"

But since its only the 12th and Im down 20lbs as of today I thougth I would add another lb to that. so by the 20th I would like to be down 21lbs and with that have lost ~10% of my weight!

I always new March 20th or 21st was the official day of spring depending on the last full moon. The reason why I know.....I AM A SPRING BABY...WOOHOO!!! MARCH 21ST!!!

I am going to take on all 4 challenges.....nothing motivates me more than going the full course!!
I have put on 5 lbs from my last weight loss....I have hypothyroid and it has decided to give me trouble last month. But I am not giving up!!!! So I am aiming to get those 5 lbs back off!!!

5) lost 2 lbs of the 5 I gained!! March 16...lost 4 lbs of the 5 I gained!! MARCH 18) I DID IT...LOST ALL OF THE 5 LBS PLUS 2 OZ. BROKE MY PLATEAU!!!


2. Regularly HUDDLE on the Slowest Loser's team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge.

Stayed the same at this week's weigh-in so I hope next week will be better
2. Regularly HUDDLE on the Slowest Loser's team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge.
I have huddled every day
3. Give Springy type SparkGodies (flowers for example), to at least one member, at least three days a week.
I have been passing out goodies (I wish there were more choices for spring though)

So far, so good! I like huddling with my fellow Turtles, so that's been easy!

Not so sure if the weight will be down to the goal because it seems to be fluctuating a lot at the moment. I suppose that means something is happening...

I weighed myself this morning and I finally made it over the 10-pound hump!! That's since Jan. 2, though, not since March started. I'll figure it out at the end of the month. I'm giving up sugar/desserts for Lent, so that should help!!

After not losing hardly anything over the last 2 weeks, I finally lost 2 pounds on Friday. I will need to check out my measurements tomorrow, which I do once a month. I also have my spring decorated page ready for viewing. Go.....Turtles!

How's everyone doing on the challenge? I had lost weight but now I'm in the city on a ten day trip, don't have a scale and eating lots...almost all... my meals out. I'm afraid I'm doing lots of damage. Hope I don't gain back ALL the 5 pounds I had lost just before leaving home for this trip.
I'm doing bookkeeping all day long, troubleshooting. Sitting. No exercise even possible in the evening because of my living situation and meals out.
I return home on the 13th and will be Sparking again more next week. I'll be checking Spring Pages for giving out Goodies for my top 5 Choices so make sure you let me know on this thread when your page is ready for viewing.

Thanks for coming up with this challenge! It's great motivation and a good way to get to know your SparkFriends and team members better. Here's my progress so far:

1. Lose pounds or inches in these next three weeks: My goal is to lose 3 lbs. in the next three weeks. (Still a work in progress)

2. Regularly huddle on the Slowest Loser's team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge. (I've huddled with the team everyday.)

This is a good challange. So far, I have huddled nearly every day, have sent SparkGoodies to SLT members and even sent goodies to friends from other places. I edited my SparkPage by replacing my MardiGras theme with a photo of blooming azaleas in my yard. You can see part of a LARGE oak tree, the kind with branches that reach to the ground and back up again. Just beautiful.

Help! I hope someone can help me with the background picture on my SparkPage. I do not know if the images can be shifted or changed in size so there is not the abrupt line that can be seen on the right side of the page. Please visit the page and send ideas.

I have a question about changing my SparkPage. And I have seen many of the pages of members on this thread that have great pages. So I thought someone might be able to help me. I am not the most computer literate person so I am sure I am just missing a step or something easy. But, when I load pictures to put on my page, they show up very small on my page. Help!! What am I doing wrong?

What a great way to countdown to spring - I, for one, cannot wait for spring to arrive. When it does here's where I'll be...

1. With 3 weeks to lose, I'm aiming on losing 3 pounds. That's one pound a week - little pressure but a solid start to spring.

2. I'll be sure to HUDDLE with the team at least 4-5 times a week during the challenge.

3. I'll be sure to hand out goodies.

Wow, with the number of things coming up between now and March 20, I really have to admit my goal is to not GAIN weight. Actually, that's been my goal for most of this. So, this morning my weight was 232.0, and I'll aim for something less than that on March 20.

A short run down of my life in these three weeks includes: 1 week in Florida on business, my husband's birthday, my birthday... Yeah, it'll be tough.

I never remember to huddle and give goodies sporadically, and haven't change my sparkpage decor, ever, so that's all I'm going to commit to.

I weighed in today at 175. My goal is to lose 3 pounds by the 20th. My additional personal goal is to fit into a dress that I bought some time ago. The 20th is a special day for my husband and I. It is the anniversary of when we met. We usually celebrate by going to a nice restaurant for dinner and dancing. It is my goal to wear my new dress which is only one size larger than I wore when we met. Hopefully, next year I will have to buy one two sizes smaller!

I am in. I want to lose 2 lbs by March 20 and will huddle- hopefully every day. I don't know how to do the other 2 things.
