I'm in for # 5 and 6. These are habits I'm particularly trying to work on right now anyway.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day:
Monday: 8
Tuesday: 5 (whoops)
Wednesday: 6 1/2
Thursday: 6
Friday: 6

Exercise for 20 minutes 4 out of the 5 days. I am going to exercise for 10 minutes (energy issues) all 5 days.
Monday: 10 minutes
Tuesday: 10 minutes
Wednesday: 10 minutes
Thursday: about 30 minutes
Friday: 10 minutes

I am a bored eater when home alone too long. I have to find things to keep my mind occupied.

Water off to good start today.

I know for me to be successful with health and fitness I have to practice this quote b/c right now my life is extremely busy and if I'm not careful I will miss those 10-15 minutes of opportunity to get in my fitness. I have one of those plastic cubes where you can put in pictures. I have quotes on mine. My new favorite one is "If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse." It's by Stephen Dolley, Jr. I find this helpful because I am the queen of rationalization and procrastination! I say I want something but I don't work for it.

My runner's quote of the day

Got my water in yesterday

did weights for the first time yesterday in like forever but was actually able to increase amount used. I think it's from unloading and stacking 6 cords of wood in early winter and with the weight of warm jacket, gym bag and purse hauling an xtra 30 lbs (I got on the scale with all of it one..that's how I know) around during the week .

Today I am giving myself a rest day and enjoying a Buffalo Sabres game after work. Have a killer workout planned for Friday.

I'm in for # 5 and 6. These are habits I'm particularly trying to work on right now anyway.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day:
Monday: 8
Tuesday: 5 (whoops)

Exercise for 20 minutes 4 out of the 5 days. I am going to exercise for 10 minutes (energy issues) all 5 days.
Monday: 10 minutes
Tuesday: 10 minutes

I am late starting -- I have hardly been on the computer since last week, since my family has been visiting all weekend! But now they are gone, the house is back to normal (but so empty!) and I can get back on track with my diet plan and more exercising (but I did exercise 3 of the 5 days they were here! yay me!)

1. I will find a motivational quote and post it. I have several I like -- just have to pick one! -- done!

2. I will find an article and post the link. -- done!

3. I will write on my Sparkblog and post the link. -- done!

4. I haven't gotten to my goal weight.

5. I will continue to drink at least 2L of water -- but I really need 3.
Monday: done
Tuesday: done
Wednesday: done
Thursday: done -- some of it was tea but I think that's ok.
Friday: done and then some

6. I will be exercising 30 minutes per day.
Monday: done
Tuesday: only 10 -- but I did do something!
Wednesday: done -- 45 minutes
Thursday: not done. :(
Friday: not done. bad day.

42 on treadmill yesterday..not supposed to be running yet but I did have to do 6 one minute sprints with what I was doing but I kept them a slow sprint.

I'm trying to take this to heart, because i haven't been able to consistently exercise, and all i want to do for starters is go for a daily walk. This time i'll start by believing i can do it. So i'll also sign up for the daily 30 minutes of exercise part of this mini-challenge.

I forgot to say I am in to also drink 8 glasses of water a day and exercise at least 20 min. a day. These are easy as I am already doing these steadily. Good luck to all!

MOTIVATION is necessary before we start the making Lifestyle changes but it is also necessary as we CONTINUE our Lifestyle changes or MAINTAIN our already reached goals (not me yet)!

This week chose one or more of these Mini-Challenges for this five day challenge:
